Let's open this up for discussion. Right now, The Bakersfield Californians Poll is showing "no" as the leading vote. What are your thoughts - yes, no, don't know, and discuss it. I personally say no, this is not the right time, hold out for Jan/Feb when all the foreclosures, ARM's starting really playing havoc, etc.

Were you there fellow bloggers? What a great time, and all for a good charity. The food was plentiful and delicious - a few that we visited were: PF Changs, Cafe Med, BJ's, Champs BBQ, Coldstone Creamery, The Garden Spot, Woody's Grill. I never saw them run out either, even at 9pm, the food was still flowing. My favorite was Nikki's BBQ - deep pit, potato salad to die for and chili beans.

Beers and wine were plentiful, I have to admit I did like the White Merlot at the San Marcos Creek Vineyard booth, but beer is my favorite drink and I tasted plenty of it!

Lastly, the music was GREAT! Of all the bands, I really liked The News Brothers who played at the Big Kahunaville stage from 8:15 to 9:45. What a great group who I would love to hear again, although I don't know where they play at regularly.

Everybody was friendly, although it was crowded and HOT. All the workers were fabulously.

Tell me your experiences bloggers and your favorite drinks/food!

Not many new posts, so many of fellow bloggers must be away enjoying hopefully cooler weather than those of us remaining in BakoTown.  What will you be doing this Monday on Labor Day?

My neighbors want me to fry chicken, make real mashed potatos and gravy...... but geez, that's a lot of work on LABOR DAY - shouldn't it be a work free day?
