A long day, a short post
Ah, the youth of today. A local high schooler works at the Western Street Rod Nationals from 8:30 to 3 and calls it a "really long day." Still, it's a really short blog post and pretty entertaining. It's here. 1 comments from 1 users

HAHAHAHA! Sounds like my child. I brought her to work with me during Easter break, she's 17. We had her run errands and help answer phones. She worked from 9-5 because to her 8am was torture during 'her vacation'. On our ride home from her first day, she said 'mom, I'm so tired'. I replied 'welcome to the working world honey'. She then said this is why I will find myself a wealthy husband. I darned near wanted to laugh myself right off the freeway. We got home and she went straight to bed. How hard is answering phones? She didn't want to come back on Tuesday, she needed more rest. I made her. It's about lessons to be learned. I pay her gas and car insurance(so I felt she needed to understand work=pay bills) and she helps me taxi my younger 2 around. She was thankful at the end of the week=payday. She opened her own checking account and all. What I loved most was her telling me 'thanks mom, I don't know how you do it all'. The joys of parenting!!
