Loved the action pictures of the rescue workers during the flood and the firefighters battling the Piute fire.  It makes me proud that we have brave men and women who risk their lives helping the rest of us.

All the pictures are beautiful.  They make me realize I have a long way to go before I can consider myself a decent "picture-taker."  LOL.

My favorite is Troy Harvey's picture of the cowboys.  It looks like there's a different emotion on each person's face.  It draws you in, makes you wonder what they're all thinking.

There were a  lot of great pictures this week. The only one I did not like was the one taken by Casey Christie, showing Espinoza in court. That one killed me. I did not want to see the picture of the man who killed my friend's grandmother. I was looking at his photo gallery of the Espinoza trial the other day and I wanted to cry when I saw the picture of my friend while he was in court. It broke my heart to see him that way.

Casey Christie is still my favorite photographer. I just couldn't stand seeing that picture. All the others were great. I think I liked the cowboys picture the most, too.
