Good thing melanoma isn't contagious.

After he gave his speech, he did something I have not seen any other candidate do (and I have been to MANY fundraisers) he went around the room and shook everyone's hand.

Easy to do when there's only a couple of dozen people in attendance.

I've met a couple of newmakers I loved to hate. My biggest impression and surprise is that they don't have horns and carry a pitchfork. They're just people.

Well don't wash it until the November elections.  It'll give you something to remember the loser by.

RF, would you say to someone that it's a good thing breast cancer isn't contagious?

posted by randomfactor on Jul 29, 2008 at 11:03 AM

Knowing how many are affected by breast cancer, isn't it a good thing that it's not contagious either?

But you're right, it is a cheap shot for someone who just had *ANOTHER* skin growth removed.

I don't want to be cruel about this, but if McCain does have another skin cancer it doesn't bode well for his longevity.  This man can't seem to catch a break against Teflon Obama.

I'd be more concerned if Bush-anoma is contagious, or the tendency for corruption (see Keating 5 scandal).

It *IS* contagious.  McShrub'll *NEVER* get the stink off:

Funny about the shaking hands.  I've shaken hands with Harry Reid, Wesley Clark a couple of times and John Edwards.  All of them after they gave speeches and were walking around the entire room to shake hands.

Maybe there just aren't enough Democrats in town...

Ain't *THAT* the truth.

I once shook hands with Gray Davis. I had to eat pizza with my left hand later that day because I was so disgusted with my right hand...

BBOZO...?

I shook hands with Rep. Lynn Schenk in 1994 at Democrat headquarters in San Diego (it was only fair to do so, considering how many doughnuts I had eaten). The following Tuesday she lost her seat to Brian Bilbray. I took full credit for his victory...
