Ted Nugent tells Bakersfield man to 'raise hell'

Rush hour is a good thing?

The Motor City Madman gets tough when responding to a caller on a Bakersfield radio talk show.

Check out classic Nugent here.

Be sure to wear a loin cloth while doing it!

Raising Hell! Isn't that what all the No on 8 people have been doing because they didn't get their way? If that Prop gets overturned, it will appear that "Raising Hell" is how to get what you want in the United States. That would be a very bad, harmful, dangerous, and idiotic message to send to the people. We all have some pet peeves. Should we all act like a bunch of mean brats in the streets? I think not.....

I remember when Uncle Ted was on the show.  It was a great show!

We still play parts of that "rant" at least once a week.  GREAT STUFF!

Which talk show was he on?

You didn't know Puck worked for Jaz?  Puck is now on the ice ready to catch the squid you throw.

Who are you talking to Phil?

posted by grandolephil on Nov 21, 2008 at 09:40 AM

Well I meant you Nancy but I didn't phrase it very well by using a rhetorical “you”. I meant to compare the usual liberal rage which follows any mention of Jaz's show to Puck catching squid or octopus at a Condor's pregame like his avatar lends the image of, at least to me. Puck is Jaz's producer and call screener and that job is kind of like a hockey goalie anyway.  Ted's rant was recorded on Jaz's show so I wonder if I should compare that to hitting a hockey puck out into the bleachers.  Or maybe I'll just go sit in the penalty box.

Phil, I'm aware of Pucks position but it wasn't clear whose show Ted was on.  If the poster above is the real Puck he didn't indicate it or what show he remembered Ted being on.

Thanks for clearing that up.

I'm sure that's Puck because he always seems upbeat and positive in the KNZR chat.
