No love for George Bush? YIKES!

It's getting chilier for Georgie Bush...

CNN's Rick Sanchez Reports on Bush being ignored at G20 Summit.

You think W is counting the days, so he can hand over his mess to Obama?

<Check out the video at left.

Yikes!

Well, he is pretty darn irrelevant at this point. Besides that, who want to hear the opinion of somebody that screwed his country up really really bad.

Here's Bush's master planning in action. If plan A doesn't work, Plan B is to work harder to make plan A work while continuing to claim how well plan A is working.

The vid kinda reminded of that scene in Animal House when Neidermeier is being mean to the Delta pledges, and the Delta brothers watching from the putting green say, "Hey, only we can do that to our pledges.."

Haha...oh well...I guess you had to be there.. :-P

PP2, Have to say that seems about right. By the way, we all know that the economy is sound. Ya! Sure it is.  I recall him saying that while the rest of us were saying Oh ****! Then within weeks, in some cases days proclaiming the sky is falling.

I recall him saying that while the rest of us were saying Oh ****!

McSame made the same mistake and that's why he's back in the Senate.

McSame was leading in the polls until his ill-fated "fundamentals of the economy are still strong" statement.

There's no love for the Republican party either.

If some new poll data is to be believed, the Republicans might be in for a long time in the wilderness. Let's take a look at the numbers.

The new Gallup poll shows that the Republican Party as an institution has a 61% unfavorable rating, with only 34% favorable. And the numbers have only gone downhill since the election -- in October they were at 40% favorable and 53% unfavorable.

But it actually gets worse for the GOP from there.

A separate question in the data set showed 59% of Republicans saying the party needs to be more conservative, compared to only 12% who say the party should be less conservative. So not only is the pool of Republican voters shrinking, but the ones who remain are really nuts.

As long as the religious right (the largest voting bloc) control the GOP, they will spend a lot of time in the desert.

Not sure he can count that high.

You're right about Animal House Matt. Maybe we should rename him Flounder. Seems appropriate. Damn, it's already taken!
