Sickos live among us. What else is new?

As a Witch, I'm not ready to pass judgment until I see more facts.

If it is an act of fanaticism that some think it is, it is no better for good people to surrender Bakersfield to bigotry any more than it is to surrender your own neighborhood to the control of gangs.

CATPAW:  you don't have to go and see it if you don't want to.

AD: thank you  :-)

Oh please. "Religious fanatics"? Yeah, and so many god-fearing "religious fanatics" are sharing that space with the artists downtown. More likely it was idiot kids, or a pissed off ex that did the damage. I read the attached article; am I missing something?

Seems like a pathetic publicity stunt to me.

or,  a bunch of  Btown Bingo players ... who happen to share vague notions of right and wrong.

I am so with you on this one, Vanity.  Where did "Religious fanatics" come from?  I, also, think it sounds more like kids being a little stupid.  The downtown art scene has been struggling so I would not be surprised if this was all for publicity.  Not a whole lot of facts, which makes this a little strange.

This looks like the work of (a) frightened coward(s) scared of and threatened by what they don't understand.
