I Confess: I'm a BakoBlawgDawg4Daughtry: Check out his performance of Bon Jovi's Wanted: Dead or Alive

If you want to show Chris Daughtry how big a fan you are, and how much support Kern County has to offer for this passionate performer and straight-from-the-heart rocker, deliver the goods in the form of a comment.

If you hate him, and you're into dissin' Daughtry, I'm not going to delete you, but this new series is primarily reserved for Bakersfield fans who want to show their support and stay connected with what's happening with his career.

So put on your headphones BakoBlawgDawgs4Daughtry, fasten your seatbelts, and get ready to rock.  As you may notice, with this brilliant performance, he's outshined Bon Jovi, the original artist who put the song out.

I am a true Daughtry fan....I am actually going to see them at the California Mid State Fair this weekend. I am very excited. I am such a huge fan, I refused to watch the rest of the season of AI because I was so mad that he got kicked off.

I still can't understand how Chris D.  missed being American Idol.   BTW what is the name of that twitchy dude who won.  You don't hear too much about him anymore.  Maybe because he can't sing.

The twitchy dude is Taylor Hicks........definitely not my fave.

Taylor Hicks. His debut album Taylor Hicks, was released in December and went platinum in 36 days.

American Idol - Kellie Pickler

Kellie Pickler could have won on cuteness alone.

Inspiration cover

Greatest American Idol contestant EVER. He made a special guest appearance at the Nissan dealer in the Bakersfield Auto Mall in the Summer of 2005. Reliable sources tell me that extra security had to be hired, because women go wild whenever Hung makes an appearance and try to tear his clothes off. The same thing happened to Elvis and The Beatles.

I can't say I've ever even been tempted in the slightest to purchase a Taylor Hicks CD.  I'm not a fan of his and never will be.  It's just not my style of music and I've never really been able to connect with any of his performances.

Kellie Pichler actually really touched my heart with her ballad about growing up as a neglected child.  Does anybody know the name of that song?  Though incredibly sad, it's also quite beautiful.  As for William Hung, well I would say he was a pretty entertaining novelty act, but I'm not sitting on pins and needles waiting for his next CD to come out.

Kellie's song is "I Wonder"
