Thanks...I think.  Well, she's made it clear she's not one of the biggest fans of my music, but, (according to past compliments she's posted here), she used to be, so perhaps I can win her back.

Well, now that dusty is back, Chico, you will be needed all the more in this blog war, because you represent common sense and core values, something extreme liberal ideology has eroded over the past few decades.   To be fair, extreme fundamentalism hasn't made things any better, but hopefully we can offer a conservative perspective that represents balance and this will counteract the liberal extremism, maybe even the conservative extremism.

Not to worry. Unless she can be the queen bee and surround herself with adoring groupies she will quickly move on. Of course her excuse will be that we are all stupid and undeserving of her superior intellect.

Oh gurus of common sense and core values..whatever that means, I await enlightenment. The innuendo and name calling continue unabated. BLT~ I had to mail your bait to Dusty, so in fact I am the one that needs a good spanking..lol.How long till you acknowledge your inner Rambo will only be happy when certain others are wiped off the face of this earth? I move aside for the mountain of "you mistake" me that will follow.

Doc, the problem is that we don't have any liberal extremists here.  The liberals on this board represent the majority of America on every single issue except one or two, and on those, we are divided.   I'd actually be very interested in seeing where the polling comes down in Bakersfield on the issues.  My guess is that this board is pretty representative of Bakersfield as a whole.

Thanked, I think, Doc.  Since my schedule changed so radically it almost seems like the board shifted rightward slightly.  Thank goodness Dusty came to my rescue.

.

Charlie, in your case your summation appears literally true.

TomW, we may not having an extreme extremist liberals, but we do have a few that cross the line now and then and lose their perspective that the moderates need to keep in check.

My "inner Rambo"?  LOL.  I must admit, that's rather clever.  It's always good to here from you, sage.

Thanks, sage.  Moses tried to lead his people to the promised land, and they did eventually make it.  I have all the faith in the world that you will lead us all the way to the mountain top  :)
