Well, now that dusty is back, Chico, you will be needed all the more in this blog war, because you represent common sense and core values, something extreme liberal ideology has eroded over the past few decades. To be fair, extreme fundamentalism hasn't made things any better, but hopefully we can offer a conservative perspective that represents balance and this will counteract the liberal extremism, maybe even the conservative extremism.

Doc, the problem is that we don't have any liberal extremists here. The liberals on this board represent the majority of America on every single issue except one or two, and on those, we are divided. I'd actually be very interested in seeing where the polling comes down in Bakersfield on the issues. My guess is that this board is pretty representative of Bakersfield as a whole.

TomW, we may not having an extreme extremist liberals, but we do have a few that cross the line now and then and lose their perspective that the moderates need to keep in check. My "inner Rambo"? LOL. I must admit, that's rather clever. It's always good to here from you, sage. posted by
