How shall the international community respond to the brutal assassination of Benazir Bhutto, a world leader and a champion for democracy?  It starts with the individual.  Each person must first find a way to express his/her emotions and thoughts.  Then, collectively, we can make a statement.  That statement should be that we not live in accordance with the wishes of terrorists, namely, to life a life paralyzed by fear (hardly a life at all). 

We must express our deepest sympathy for Ms. Bhutto and the more than 20 others who lost there lives in this devastating blow to decency and to democracy.  Then we must go about the business of protecting ourselves and others by joining with like-minded nations in seeking and going after those that would bring harm, and brutal death to innocent citizens and leaders of democracy.

A Dove has Fallen from the Sky is my way of saying good-bye and thank you to Benazir Bhutto for giving the world a piece of her heart and of her dream of a peaceful world.  The song is from the forthcoming CD: Biggest Blog n Roll Hits: Volume I.
