BAKERSFIELD'S BEATLES? I found LOST OCEAN at Borders: You can find them at Springfest 2008!

Everywhere I go, I find LOST OCEAN.  I call them "Bakersfield's Beatles." That's a bold declaration, but If you've heard them, you'll know why the comparison fits, at least to a point.

On Saturday, March 29, I found them at Borders on Stockdale Highway.  My nearly-3-year-old daughter is a huge fan.  She likes them almost as much as Johnny Cash, and she was there on what little space she could claim as a dance floor, executing her latest toddler dance moves.

If you've clicked on the audio bar above, then you're listening to my new song, Sinkin' in an Ocean of Sound, the one they inspired on March 29 with another brilliant performance.

Watch for my review of that Borders gig at Phantom Tollbooth:

If you missed my interview with the band, check it out here:

And if you happened to miss them at Borders, you can catch them at
