"Is that you, daddy?" Last Night's Gig at Starbucks

Last night's gig at Starbucks on Rosedale Highway and Calloway was well attended, by a wide rage of age groups (the youngest being my daughter (seen here) who will turn 3 in July.  with a wide-range of musical style preferences.   Dubbed Coffee as Art, it was all for a good cause---to raise money for cancer treatment and prevention via Relay 4 Life.

It led the Starbucks powers that be to envision similar events in the near future where yours truly and band members, Hank Ray (lead guitar), Jerry Rothberg (sax), and Walter Stormont (percussion) were invited back to perform more kccrock (Kern County country rock), Bakersfield-Sound-grounded blues, alt rock and more flavors.

So, thanks to all that attended.  We'll be back!

Bruce,

Somehow the Green Room caption got on this entry's photo.  It shows up when you enlarge the photo.  Anyway, it sounds like we actually had more room to perform last night than you do in the Green Room!

I fixed it Walter.  Yes, you're right, we did have more room out there at Starbucks.  There are still more pics to post, folks, from both Ray and Walter.  I'll keep you posted (pun intended).
