Has the United States created a Counterfeit Crisis?
Welcome to my blog n roll world, where I supply the topic and the tunes, and you supply the talk. I'm Dr. BLT, and I'll be your humble host. When I wrote and recorded this for my Ice and Snow CD: Billy Wants a job for Christmas along with this one... Long Road to Christmas ...back in the last quarter of 2008, I was focused on problem. When a problem arises, it is necessary to identify it as a problem, in order that it may be given serious attention and significan weight. However, if there is not a timely shift from focusing on the "problem" as a "problem" to the "problem" as a "challenge," then problems have a tendency to grow bigger and deeper. In viewing the "economic crisis," as a "crisis," of grand proportions, and perpetuating such a view over a more positive one involving an "economic challenge," I believe our leaders in Washington on both sides of the political isle have helped fuel a "counterfeit crisis," that amounts to a self-fulfilling prophesy. I also believe that we should change the term "economic crisis," to "economic challenge," because the term "economic crisis" itself has a built in mechanism for perpetuating the very fear that fuels it. This phenomenon is, above all, psychological. Our attitude, and our strategy should be: Let's all work together, putting political differences aside to the extent that such differences can be put aside, and work together to put this economy back on track. Putting the eocnomy back on track begins with inculcating a sense of hope in people---hope that if they work hard, it will eventually pay off. So, what's your preference? Do we get through this by staying in "crisis" mode or is it more profitable, both monetarily and psychologically, to be looking at this phenomenon as a "challenge"? 1 comments from 1 users

I wwill jump on this one. Better late than never right? Of course the government has got to be in on this crissis. Its like the gas and oil people were not making any money so they rose prices to 4.50 a gallon for how long. Then in November come back down to 1.59 per gallon. It stayed about a month. So if they werent making anymoney , how did they survive that month at 1.59? They made money at 1.59, thats how. And the Real estate people and the mess at the banks. If they would just be more willing to work with the people they have morgages with, insteaad of wanting to just take the loss, where would this crissis be? I really think there is some foul air around and this new president doesnt have a clue as to hoow to fix what his party helped break.
