Welcome to my new blog n roll series, Sunny Side Up.  In my world of blog n roll, I provide the topics and the tune, and you supply the talk.  Today's talk involves the way stores greet their customers during the Christmas season. Last year, things got divisive around here as stores that refused to salvage any vestiges of Christmas were put on the dreaded Christmas black list. Since Sunny Side Up is about focusing on the positive, and putting out positive energy, I would...

You guessed it.  Complete with orignal soundtrack (well, sort of).  http://sendables.jibjab.com... And though I wasn't the star on the original flick (that was the late Jimmy Stewart), I did write and record Waiting for Wings, the belated single-song soundtrack, as you'll notice if you hit the play button on the music station attached here. The movie could be starring you and yours, thanks to modern technology.  Merry Christmas!

Reading about the recession can cause more than one kind of depression.  This economic crisis is nothing, if not fear-based.  So I'd like to be part of the solution, not part of the problem, by being one voice of optimism in an otherwise pessimism-polluted blog environment.  So here's the sunny side for today:  It wasn't that long enough that even the most hawkish among us had to flinch in the face of the staggeringly growing number of lives and limbs lost in...

Welcome everybody.  Merry Christmas.  I'm not wasting any time this Christmas getting bogged down with partisan arguments that go around in circles and produce nothing but further divisiveness in an already Divided States of America.  Instead, I'm putting some of the original songs from my new Ice and Snow CD to work this Christmas.  Here are the details: PSA: For Immediate Release 12/08/08 with song sample links. Merry Christmas everybody.  I've come bearing gifts---this time, in the form of a Rolling Stones tune I've adapted for the season.   It's a bonus track on the CD, Ice and Snow, found here: http://www.drblt.net Now, sample my seasonally-tailored Stones song, and let me know what you think: You Can't Always Get what you Want Dr BLT (adapted from the Rolling Stones song, Can't Always Get what you Want) http://www.drblt.net/music/...
