Something special is going to happen this Christmas in Bakersfield---something that will benefit the homeless. God willing, it will involve multiple artist and bands, representing multiple generations. So far, I believe my daughter, pictured here, at age 4, is the youngest signed up. I've been living out the song Homer Joy wrote, and Buck Owens and Dwight Yoakam recorded, traveling and walking The Streets of Bakersfield, meeting and speaking with homeless individuals in Kern County. These two pictured here put a real face on homelessness in Bakersfield.
They helped me promote a new way to help them by letting me take their pictures. You can be a part of that new way to help the homeless, while eliminating the generation gap that presently exists on...
They've come a long way in a short time, and soon they will be "arriving" as a featured act on the best media phenomenon to happen to Bakersfield Sound since Cousin Herb Henson's Trading Show. I'm talking about Bakersfield and Beyond.
