Cam, I'm so sorry to hear how terribly wrong things have gone for you.  As you've probably seen, several of us were asking about you and hoping things were getting better.

Your cognitive abilities seem fine here, if they weren't you wouldn't be able to write in your usual intelligent fashion.  Be careful about making a trip like that with your bike in bad shape.  You wont do yourself any good if you get stranded.

I'm taking the liberty of speaking for all of us on the blog when I say..we're pulling for you.

Good luck, Cam.  I was wondering about not hearing from you just the other day.  What Nancy said about the bike, though (but you're probably already on your way.)

If your Freedom Ride is not successful and you go the publicity route, may I suggest in addition to your standard outlets you use some left-side blog power?  I'd be happy to help you get something posted on http://www.dailykos.com (lots of readership by lots of activists.)

Cam~ You should not have this happening to you,I am so mad I could spit. Get me the information also,I 'll do a write up on sirens for you. keeping the thought that idiots~oops I mean the Doctors ,see if you can get all the way there on a bike~ your cognitive. Hoping for nothing but the best news for you!

It's too easy for doctors to sign off on a case and not give it another thought or at least the decency of a  thorough rechecking of the data, considering the medication you were on.  I wish you success in your "journey".  Let us know how it all turned out.

I usually save this for the more noble pursuits in my life.  But in this case it was applicable to the down and dirty as well.

It has been a long, event filled day none of which involved motorcycling to Los Angeles.  (If you want to make God laugh tell him your plans)  Through a long a complicated series of event I was delayed just long enough for another player to enter the picture.

Because there are legal issues at stake I can not really say any more until later, but it is as if the television character "Shark" has suddenly thrown his weight into the arena on MY SIDE....finally, and yeah, and thank you God!

Tomorrow will, in fact, involve a motorcycle trip to Fresno to hand deliver some documents, but a few non-BMW approved tweaks to the bike will tighten things up enough to ride safely a couple of hundred miles on even ground.

On a further note, I also need to tell you guys that as of June 13 I will no longer be an employee of KCSOS and Patti and I will be leaving California for a fresh start in New Mexico.  (See above quote.)

Hope to see y'all at least once before we leave.

Also, I plan to be around here a lot more too.
