Caltrans sends Westpark form letters

I got a letter from Caltrans today thanking me for my letter on Highway 58. I didn't actually send a letter, but whatever. I imagine several hundred of these will be delivered to the Westpark neighborhood today, and a few to other parts of town, too.

I sent a letter to Cal Trans decision makers inviting them to a "Meet & Greet" at my home and all the people that live in Westpark. They need to hear the people speak, meet them, talk to them, and hear from a real person.  We are not some laboratory experiment like a bunch of rats , we are real people with history in Bakersfield. NOT a bunch of renters who expect to move frequently for what ever reason and have no emotional investment in the neighborhood.  Most of the people that live in the Westpark have so for years, paid taxes, give to charity, go to church, held a job and paid taxes, have families raised in Westpark and spent money on remodeling their homes after the City Council in 1998 and 2001 told the Westpark residents the 58 project was rejectected the City Council should be sued for "Lying" to us twice. Shame on them. & Harvey Hall forever that they live in KC.

Don't feel bad.  I got three form letters.  Caltrans, Kern Council of Governments and Assemblywoman Jean Fuller.  What is this?  Rather than individually addressing all of my concerns, it looks like they are all in cahootz and shared the content of their form letter!!!  I say vote out all of the city councilmembers, sans David Couch, for re-nigging on their word.  Councilman Couch was the only one to stand up for the west park home owners.

Can we still say re-nigging?

Don't let timec see this.

It's "reneging," oh, uninformed ones.
