Obama Snubs Fort Hood To Relax At Camp David
While Dubya and Laura give a lesson on class acts... the Narcissist in chief doesn't listen. November 07, 2009 Obama snubs Ft. Hood to relax at Camp David
Dan Riehl checks the President's schedule and learns that Obama's not going to Fort Hood, but rather to Camp David for the weekend. In an update, Dan notes that his predecessor is more sensitive to the situation.
That Dancing with the Indians conference must have really worn the poor guy out so much he can't spare time to comfort the survivors of the jihadi Major's massacre.

Every president from FDR has taken vacations and get-aways to work in seclusion. Unless there's been a retraction I don't know of, the president is slated to attend one of the memorial services. I get the feeling, however, had the president dropped everything and rushed to Ft. Hood, he'd be accused of looking for a photo-op. (As was the case when he was present for returning coffins at 4:00 in the morning.) But then, your source is Fox News. posted by

But then, your source is Fox News. Is there an untruth up there anywhere? You are insinuating that the Fox News report of 0bama's schedule is false? Prove it. Are you saying that the Fox News report of the Bush's visit is false? I also included the link to the AP story. I would go on and make some snarky comments about illiteracy and lack of education, but I've seen what it makes FreeShoesGraduate look like so I'll refrain. posted by

What amazes me is that no matter how many sources tell the same story, if you use a Fox link the story must be false, A comment would have a lot more credibility if it just disagreed on it's own merit and not used it as an opportunity to bash Fox. Especially when it's been run elsewhere.

I think the point catpaw was making, which is getting lost on the Fox News supporters, is that this is another case of petty partisan nitpicking from the right. That no matter what Obama did for the Veterans Day weekend, the right would find something to criticize, no matter how trivial. It's getting old fast. posted by

And you continually playing interpreter for others comments is also getting old. They are perfectly capable of speaking for themselves. It has less to do with Fox supporters than it does with people who won't accept a true story if Fox is attached to it even if the story came off a major news source. People here have the right to voice their opinion and their displeasure with the president and they shouldn't have to be told they are "petty partisans" by someone who is blatantly partisan. posted by

Nancy, " It has less to do with Fox supporters than it does with people who won't accept a true story if Fox is attached to it even if the story came off a major news source." That's because Fox News is not a credible news source. That is true. --virgil posted by

...Dan notes that his predecessor is more sensitive to the situation. That's a fact from an unbiased reporter? This guy simply doesn't care. Unbelievable via Fox. Strange. I haven't heard that fact repeated on CNN, HLN, PBS, the networks, or seen it on Time. Why is that? While you're at it, does Rush have any "facts" worth repeating?

Last month, Fox, the so-called news source, editorialized in favor of legalizing marijuana. They gave NORML a half-hour interview, and everything. --virgil posted by

...Dan notes that his predecessor is more sensitive to the situation. That's a fact from an unbiased reporter? The quote you reference isn't even from a Fox report.

The Native American he "shouted out" to, was a Medal of AMERICA recipient not the Medal of Honor recipient!! In Fact..............it was "o" who gave the chief the medal!! OMG! How embarrassing is THAT?
