gube - > life is good -> President Bush on illegal immigration
President Bush on illegal immigration

'' find sensible and humane way to deal with people who are here illegally. Illegal immigration is complicated but it can be resolved and it must be resolved in a way that upholds our laws and our highest ideals."

This is a quote from President Bush's State of the Union speech last night. What do you think Bush means with the quote? What does the quote mean to you?

'' find sensible(nobody's had any luck yet)  and humane way(machine gun towers on the border have been ruled-out) to deal(remove/ignore) with people(hordes) who are here illegally(permanently). Illegal immigration(The Great Flood) is complicated(frankly, we've thrown in the towel) but it can be resolved(how, I haven't a clue) and it must be resolved(...if we can put a man on the moon...) in a way(eeny, meeny, miney, mo)  that upholds our laws(lawyer proof)  and our highest ideals(no child left behind)."

Robb you forgot the most important part "it can be(the next schmuck who holds this office can do it) resolved".

As I heard that, I thought it was the most creative writing in the speech. It's up to some future Congress and president to define.

The problem is, it's not in the best interest of the U.S. economy to drive out illegal immigrants.  It's a bottom line issue.

Since there is so much uproar about it, politicians feel pressure to provide some sort of response, but nobody wants to act like some illegal immigrant Gestapo.

So you say something that you feel will temporarily appease the illegal immigration tyrants.  What can you say, but what Bush said?

I think it means that some old same old. nothing new. About the only truth about the statement is when he said that that Illegal immigration is complicated. The one thing that i believe is that no matter what is done about this issue there are going to be people that are unhappy.

Lets not be coy uncle Lou has told us over and over what we must do border fence, border patrol,  Volunteer minute man and house by house removal, even if you get a few legal by mistake.

Once you can do that, we will again be a pristine lighter brighter society like the old days.

Forget our ideals, they are unrealistic, it is our greedy selves that we have to satisfy. As for compassion, these illegal can find that in the dictionary between commies and cornflakes, it means nothing we as Americans do not have to justify anything we do in or out of our country.

It is too bad that the real Americans in the race for the next leader of our great country Duncan Hunter and Tom Tancredo have not survived, it is now up to you and I to complete the mission by labeling all these aliens criminals, without human rights and inferior to our ruling intellect.

With the help of god, we will use the abuse them and loose them successfully in this decade.
