Open Letter to John McCain: America Needs "Bailout" from Illegal Immigration

September 21, 2008

Senator John McCain
United States Senate
Washington, D.C.

Dear Senator McCain:

America is in the throes of an economic crisis of such grave consequence that former Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan has described it as a "once in a hundred years" occurrence, which would make it potentially more devastating than the Great Depression.

In reacting to this once in a century crisis, President Bush and Congressional leaders have reportedly reached an agreement to take yet another $700 billion dollars of taxpayer money to purchase bad debt from failing U.S. banks and other financial institutions.

When implemented, the so-called rescue fund will increase America's public debt to $11.3 trillion dollars.

In addition to the latest trillion-dollar crisis, we Americans face other overwhelming economic challenges: Social Security and Medicare are reportedly headed toward insolvency. Democrats would like to implement universal health care (socialized medicine). Most of the nation's infrastructure is old and in need of repair or replacement, and our nation absolutely must achieve energy independence for both national security and economic security reasons.

Given the precarious state of the nation's economy, it should be clear that America can no longer afford to feed, house, educate, and provide medical care to tens of millions of foreign, non-English speaking peasants who have violated U.S. borders and laws and who have no legal basis for being here.

With all due respect, Senator, your advocacy on behalf of illegal aliens ignores the economic, social, educational, and cultural burdens that would be unfairly dumped on the backs of American citizens, most of whom are also taxpayers.

Illegal aliens currently here already cost taxpayers hundreds of billions of dollars each year. Amnesty would dump additional billions onto the backs of overtaxed citizens.

Furthermore, "comprehensive reform" anything like the McCain-Kennedy proposals from the summer of 2007 would encourage tens of millions now living in Mexico and other points south of our borders to come here illegally, thereby further jeopardizing homeland security and adding more distress to American citizens.

Senator McCain, in light of the severe economic meltdown facing we the people, why not embrace a plan that immediately secures the borders, deports those here illegally, and requires an orderly and lawful process for all people wishing to migrate to America?

Why not a plan that respects American citizens and honors immigrants who stand in line, wait their turn, and follow the rules?

Why not a plan that is America First, even blatantly jingoistic?

Why not abandon that commitment to amnesty and replace it with a vow to restore the rule of law to our suffering nation?

Why not a plan to bail out American citizens from the devastation that illegal aliens bring to our homeland?

Thank you for your consideration, Senator.

Sincerely,

John W. Lillpop
San Jose, California

Gube, neither side is going to touch that subject with a ten-foot pole until after the election. Mortgages, mudslinging, and Sarah Palin's legs are the top three on the priority list.

Here he goes again...........The RACIST Tehachapi Pilgrim.....

Now that he has a piece of the pie, screw everyone else. Why are you so threatened by Mexicans? I can't wait till you old fobies just die and go away. You're what makes this country crappy. You allow the government to steal from you in the form of ridiculous taxes and wars, then you blame it on the poor, hard working people. Just like they planned it.

Grandpa, don't you remember how we helped you when you needed help? And don't start quoting me the laws, because they were created by you and don't apply to human kind....STHU!

Gube is not racist. Gube and I get along handsomely despite the fact I'm a "Honky lover".

MrLo, are you another one of those who are brain dead?  This isn't about Mexicans or bigotry.  This is about ILLEGAL immigration.  This is about being swamped with ILLEGALS.You need to keep your own bigotry out of it and pay attention.

Giving amnesty to illegals is still a slap in the face to all those who came before them...legally.

MrLo this isn't about race its about what I believe is right and wrong. I believe that if you are here LEGALLY then you should enjoy ALL of America's  rights and freedoms. I believe that if you are in this country illegally then you need to be arrested and deported. If you committed any other crimes such as ID theft then you need to be charged with that crime. I believe that illegal immigration is a threat to this country. I believe that our elected officials have given illegal alien non-citizens rights over American citizens. I believe that our immigration problem can be controlled if our politicians would encourage our law agency's to enforce our existing immigration laws. I believe that we need to secure the border and complete the border fence. I believe that Amnesty should not be considered and should be taken of the table. I believe that illegal aliens are criminals not victims. I believe that the Mexican government should have to pay for all the services that their citizens are freely receiving in this country. I believe that illegal aliens should not be allowed to go to public schools. I believe that illegal aliens should not collect and public assistance of any kind. I hope

MrLo I hope this helps explain my stance on illegal immigration

It's about race.

McBush is just *FINE* with essentially an amnesty program for *WHITE* undocumented immigrants.  Said so the other day.

I don't care what color you are.....If you are in this country illegally then you are who I am ranting about!

i read yesterday this story in texas how this man was trying to hire labor to cut and clear his house of trees and debris, so what did this man who happened to be white do? he went to the corner to hire labor of they were mexicans and offered to pay them seven dollars a hour with no lunch, no one took his offer, then the man offered $8.00 a hour with no lunch and two men took his offer, so tell me what should have this man done. if it had been me i would have told him to find his family to help him or hire a company that can do this, but he chose not too. for me some americans are two face about this. people like that i dont feel sorry for, and if it offends anyone oh well. palin gives me the creeps too only because she will not hold interviews, what is she scared of? is she trying to hide something?

MrLo, are you another one of those who are brain dead?

Sounds like an accurate diagnosis. Illegal supporters have always tried to blur the line between legal immigrants and illegal aliens, and it hasn't worked. They get frustrated and pull out the race card, then get angry when we tear it in half. Tough.

AudeSapere you are correct...............The one word you never here from the pro-illegal immigration group is the word ''illegal''...... I do not consider them immigrants........They are illegal aliens.
