Info, I have personally dealt with both Constantine and Susan Luu. They are both very good dermatologists. The only bad thing about Dr. Luu is that the wait is so long even with an appointment unless you get the first appointment of the day. My kids have never been to any dermatologist so I don't know about that. Good Luck! posted by

NOT ELBAUM. HE IS THE WORST EVER! He cut a whole in my head right there in his office when I was in fourth grade. One week and ten stitches later, the hole didn't close and therefore I had the hole for another three months (demanding extra daily care in case of infection) and now have a scar (baldspot). If you do go to him, prepare to wait at least thirty minutes and once you finally see him, he is vague and simplicit, five minutes and he's done with you...without ever even helping your situation. He cheated his way to the top, there's no doubt! posted by

Dr. MacDuff is an excellent doctor - however - he has no "bedside manner" He is curt, bordering on rude, and cuts to the chase, no pleasantries - but as a doctor he is very good. I have not heard anything about any of the others except Dr. Ammar. I have heard he is good but it is difficult to get an appointment with him and as mentioned above for another doctor, even with an appointment you might want to take War and Peace with you to read during the wait!!!

I agree with Bakoborn on her assessment of Elbaum, I wasn't "damaged" but she's right on regarding the vague and simplicit and I might add condescending to her list. I would NEVER recommend him. Sorry, I can't help out on the other ones. posted by

I had a positive experience with Elbaum. He correctly diagnosed me almost immediately when several other doctors could not.
