noise pollution
I know many people complain about the loud motorcycles that race through their neighborhoods and how they would love the police to ticket these people. I'd love that too. We have kids who get on dirt bikes and race up and down the alley and canal area raising up dust and making a lot of noise. Really I'd like the police and county supervisors to crack down on these offenders who blare loud noise out of their car at all hours of the day. These are from today and the same people who have threatened me before for asking them to turn it down when a loud car was in front of their house playing at 10 at night. This is probably actually only the third time I've caught it on tape coming from the cars with no people in them, but there have been others and not just noise from the cars but loud partying at night, bothering the animals, jumping the fence and trespassing, and banging noises, not to mention the gunshots and illegal fireworks. This isn't from the only place either. We were having this happen at least every weekend morning (at 7 am for an hour) and at night (until 4 or 5 am) or weekday afternoon for two or three hours from 3 am on. this is the most recent.

Have you tried calling the police department? When I lived in Florida, I had a similar issue - at 3 in the morning. I called the Police, and within 10 minutes, deputies were on the scene.

Sorry, Florida, but it doesn't work that way here -- unless weapons are involved, calls re loud noise/music are very low priority. It's possible you may get an early response if the police aren't busy, but most likely it will be more than an hour or two. Then again, they may never respond. It all depends on how many high priority calls they have.
