Freelance Photographer New in Town

Hi. I just moved back to my hometown of Tehachapi, CA from Las Vegas, NV.  I’m looking to network with fellow photographers, artists (or those who appreciate the arts) and other locals.  I love live music, the outdoors and of course all art medium.  If you have any tips for me as to where the local favs are I would love to chat.

Hi there, and welcome back, from one Tehachapi resident to another. Check out the Tehachapi Art center, and also the Crossroads Gallery in Tehachapi. Talk to Mel White; she is a wonderful photographer and she is often at the Crossroads. Being a family person, I do not get out much in Bako, but if you watch the Californian, there is always something going on, and they are good about letting us know about it.

I lived in LA over ten years and never once been to Vegas w/ friends to have a good time (been with parents to celebrate b-day).  I'm not even opposed, just never got around to it.  Must be quite a change.

I'll email you, I'm conducting research in grad. school on online communities and journalism while interning at the local public TV station and LA Times.

I'm curious to hear what features you like most about this site.

Thanks
