Class Held Over to January 24, 2009 Basics of Selling on eBay

Held Over Another Week!

Register now for The Basics of Selling on eBay Class!

Start the New Year With a New Full or Part-Time Career

When:    Saturday, January 24, 2009

Where:   University Square, 2000 K Street, Bakersfield, CA 93301

This may be the last class taught in Bakersfield this year.

Cost:        $59 plus $15 Workbook Fee      9:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. with a one-hr. lunch

Email if you need more details.   Payment by Paypal would be great so that we'll know  how many workbooks we'll need.   Send money to bkin@lightspeed.net via Paypal.      Confirmation of registration by return email.

We hope that you can attend the class on the 24th.    There are no claims that  you'll  get rich on eBay (well, some people do), but it is a great way to make some extra cash.   Sometimes it's possible to take a $5 item and turn it into $150 - or better yet, take a $270.00 item and turn it into $600.00.   Try to do that in any bank these days.

Not everyone needs to take a class to figure out how to sell on eBay, but with the basic class you'll also get quick answers to your questions, tips and shortcuts, and the perspective of a long-time seller who will share her experience and offer advice.

Call 599-0267 or 588-0953

This class will pay for itself after you sell your first items on eBay.

The Basics of Selling on eBay is a class developed by eBay.    Barbara King Page, a 12-year veteran PowerSeller, is authorized to teach the class.

You'll learn to register on eBay and Paypal, research the value of your items, describe your items effectively, take good photos, complete the Sell Your Item form, ship your items safely and professionally, follow up on your sales, and much, much more!

Call Barbara at 599-0267 or 588-0953 to register now!

Advertising is circumventing the advertising department of TBC.  It's not allowed and is a violation of TOS.

Besides, I sell on ebay and didn't spend 80 bucks to do it.  You don't need to be a rocket scientist.

Easy To Sell On eBay??

Yes, it IS easy to sell, as the recent comments to this blog suggest.

But not everyone grew up with the Internet and computers, and many of the students who have attended the Basics of Selling on eBay class have just gotten on to the Information Highway.      The majority are ages 50 and up.

As recent changes to eBay have shown, there are rules and regulations, changes coming up, shipping ins and outs for both domestic and international shipping, and much more.     Most self-taught sellers learned by trial and error and have invested a fair amount of time along the way learning all there was to know.

Some folks would rather have it all presented to them with a guidebook to take home and use for reference.     They like the idea of having a real person to answer their questions.     They want to know the best way to do it by learning from someone who's already "been there" and "done that."

So let's be fair to those who prefer a structured way to learn.     It's a free country and we have the option to learn by teaching ourselves or taking a class and being taught.

Call 392-2020 to REGISTER for the next class beginning Monday, September 15th.

Easy to *LIST* on eBay, as Sarah Palin found out.  Sell, not so much.

Easy enough to do( you could always print out their instructions) but I have been checking it out quite closely~ the kinds of things I sold before~California collectable pottery,Fine China, vintage audio equipment and assorted antiques are not selling. At least like they used to.The place has changed quite a bit, seems like everybody has a "store" now. I was not impressed.
