Locked blogs...What's up with this?
Instead of a blog being blocked, why haven't the 2 trolls been deleted or kicked off here. I know this isn't BNT's fault. But both of their last 2 blogs were hijacked by the same two bright and brilliant contributors of our society. Other people have been suspended for less than half the non-sense these trolls post!! Can we vote on this? (or is that racist?) LOL! 54 comments from 19 users

Michele, I was wondering the same thing. I went back to add a comment addressing the topic and found it locked due to a TROLL! Why was he not just deleted? posted by

i think that blogs are supposed to immitate real life. not having those types of people around isnt real life. We have to learn how to deal with each other, and ,on occasion, deal with the people that feel they are above it all. locking a blog down is a personal choice. It doesnt bother me either way. what really gets me burnt, is when I am not allowed to post on someone's blog now Im sure Virgil will roll in here runnin smack about how i have him banished from my blog. simple fact is, he posted a picture. I told him it was something i didnt want on blog, i removed it and asked him not to do it again...well, he did, and he isnt allowed on my blog until is see a serious behavior change in his posts, which i have yet to see. posted by

Learnem, "simple fact is, he posted a picture. I told him it was something i didnt want on blog, i removed it and asked him not to do it again...well, ... " dude, it was a picture imitating real life. And you couldn't take what was being implied, in real life, when using it to illustrate the point that the Obama Joker is a racist representation of the President of the United States. --virgil

Pogo- this one here>> http://people.bakersfield.c... BNT locks them, which they have the right to but it's due to the 2 brilliant bloggers. It's sad to have both blogs blocked by these 2 when other people were commenting. I just observed this. Then over the weekend there was another one that I thought for sure had them kicked off, until I seen them posting today. That blog had to do with the officer shooting at 7-11 posted by

i think that people who get xnayed from peoples blogs, or get blogs shut down, ought to start their own blogs to air out their issues, not SNIPE someone else's blog about THEIR problems posted by

i believe in freedom of speech, totally ~ but then 'you-know-who-BMW" & cronies were cheering-on the shooting of a police officer, that did it for me TBC can block them - but then they will just re-create another profile, and continue to blog from their blackberries while waiting for their ho's to get back from the latest john-job. once a blog thread has gotten totally out of control, they end the feed.

Well, bp(aka..I own a 745 BMW) was deleted so that's good. Personally, if you have to flaunt what you drive, you probably don't drive that. With spelling and punctuation errors all over the place, it's a surprise they even have a job. posted by

Other than the trolls I thought it was a good blog on how our kids don't always turn out the way we hope they will. Lord knows my parents probably hoped for a lot more from me. Especially in my younger years. When bringing up the Sheriffs son I was reminded of the preachers son. Much is expected from them as well as LE children. posted by

I usually don't participate in the controversial locked blogs but, the one shouting on the blog regarding Youngblood's son needs to be permanently banned. He is out of control with anger and black pride. He just didn't get it. The difference between why we did not bash Youngblood for his rearing of children is that he is not claiming the innocence of his son. He is not blaming it on someone else. He takes the responsibility that he did the best he could and if his son screws up, well, Aaron needs to pay for his actions. Maybe if more parents practiced "tough love" the children would not be enabled. posted by

Blocking bloggers is a blogger's prerogative. Some believe it's unforgivable; others do it purely self-defensively. Once I had somebody blocked, decided to unblock him just to prove how uncritical I can be (please don't DIE laughing, everybody!), and as soon as he returned, he reminded me precisely why I didn't want his comments befouling and contaminating my blog site. Motopoet wrote a blog entry today that explained a lot of my own thinking about opinions and the stating of same. Yes, yes, everybody has one -- an opinion. However, having a particular opinion does not in and of itself mean that if it differs from that of others, I should be run out on a rail. It means just that: the opinion differs from that of others. Most of us have opinions that have been years in the making, and many of us aren't suddenly going to change those opinions because someone comes along and tells us how completely wrong we are. What person can change an opinion simply because someone believes there's no basis for the opinion? It would certainly be a wishy-washy person who would do that. I suppose I'm off-topic. I have a hunch I know what blogger might be the topic of this blog, but I'm not sure. I've pretty much been out of the fray for the last couple of days. The really, truly egregiously rude bloggers can't last long.

I blocked Virgil from my blogs for being nothing more than a simple vandal. He pops in and leaves graffiti and that's about it. Audrey, I'm glad you feel that way about the First Amendment. "I don't believe in censorhip, at all." Next time I'm in town, maybe I'll come by and exercise my first amendment right on the side of your house with a spray can, just like Virgil does on these blogs........................ That's not funny, is it? Nope, I don't think so either. That's exactly why I wouldn't do it to your house, and won't allow it on my blogs. It's destructive and adds absolutely no value. posted by

Amen, Tony (6:38 comment). I usually don't pay much attention to Virgil's comments, but he was spamming a blog that means a lot to me. Totally inconsiderate. And thank you, by the way, for handling that whole fiasco via email; it's what I should have done in the first place. I appreciate that you didn't blow that whole thing out of proportion as I did. But I still think getting upset over pizza boxes on a car is a little extreme ; ) Great post, Michele! posted by

Virgil, Vanity didn't bate ME into anything. I made a comment on another blog and I believe that maybe she misunderstood my argument. You chimed in with your typical graffiti. I chose to explain myself and patch things up with Vanity via email and not stoop to bicker with you. When I didn't engage, you continued to vandalize her blog. That's what happened. posted by

Sorry Virgil, not tonight..........I'm doing other things and not hot tubbing and partying tonight. What, do you think that those who indulge in fine spirits, do it as often as you smoke pot? Some of us are a little more responsible than that, and have real lives to attend to. Some of us go to work everyday, help run a house and raise kids. Keep stabbing around in the dark Virgil. You'll never figure it out................ Let me help you out a bit. It's called initiative, drive and accountability. posted by

Like I said, in what was deleted, you did not have the huevos to acknowledge you mis-spoke about people with disabilities when arguing with me: something about a chip on the shoulder and whining about how they think they have been cheated in life, and how they think the govt. owes them, etc. No huevos, dude, just one big fat chorizo. --virgil posted by

Just the usual in-fighting over pixels and opinions. Strong personalities ~ love them but the Machiavellian over tones are pretty entertaining. Let's stop short of a Jerry Springer show shall we ? The reason I read the blogs is for all of the opinions.
