Hello I am a 57 year old retired single grandmother raising a unique granddaughter. It's 12:28 pm and again my neighbors have awakened me this time by throwing lumber outside my window. I have lived in this house for over 7 years. Since becoming a resident in this dale I have tried to better my environment, be a good neighbor and improve my area and granted we've had a few positive changes. But I ask where have COMMON courtesy, respect and sense gone? Is it that the parents no longer teach it or the child itself is so damaged by adulthood he/she has no clue? An example: It's a no burn day and my neighbors have a fire in there back yard. I do realize I live in the Heart of the Hood of the Dale but still. Why can't this area of Oildale show some respect , compassion for others and self-worth? I don't know maybe I'm soaking in this mentality, becoming someone who just doesn't give a ___ any more. Sorry folks I'm a wee bit perturbed when I get woke up.
