McCain FLIP FLOPS again

At Saturday's faith forum, McCain said he wouldn't have appointed current Supreme Court Justices Ginsberg, Breyer, Souter, and Stevens.

Ok, so why did he vote to confirm three of them? Stevens became a justice 11 years before McCain became a senator.

He flip flopped three times in ONE sentence!

Rob, this is where being gay puts you at a disadvantage. Guys who get involved with women are so used to seeing someone change their mind, like, every fifteen seconds, that it doesn't even distract them from reading the sports page or doing the crossword puzzle...

"Hmmm? Oh, okay, dear...."

"One of the most fundamental rights of any nation, and that is territorial integrity, we must respect the entire territory of Russia, excuse me, the Russians must respect the entire territorial integrity of Georgia."

As the words, "we must respect the entire territory of," came out of his mouth, I thought for sure that McCain would stumble and say Iraq, but the sly ol;ld fox said Russia.

He closed his comments on Russia's actions in Georgia by adding, and then, of course, there is the oil.

Isnt the senate just suppose confirm them, unless there is some big problem like he's a murderer.

McCAin wa in the sendate jsut supposed to conirm the court justice, it wasn't his chioce.

You see this is the problem with Libs, they dont know enough about it so its easy to get them misinformed. Seriously if you think this is a flip flop or anything beside exactly what they are supposed to do you need to do some research.

It wasnt untill the dems ran the senate that there was a problem wiht confirmation. It is the Presidents chioce and the senates job to confirm unless of a major problem....

Montfred, you just have to hate huh? whats with you man...

.

No.  Read the Constitution.  It's a real page-turner, and one you seem deeply unfamiliar with.

No, it's not a senators  job to rubber stamp whatever the president puts in front of them. The senator represents a state, and if the senator feels an appointee isn't right for their state, it's his/her OBLIGATION to not confirm that person.

The senator represents whatever lobbist(s) pay him/her the most money. If the appointee is agreeable to those who supply the $$$, then said appointee gets the green light.
