paxchristi3 - > Shining the light of the Catholic faith on the Culture of Death -> Prez retreats on Army officer's challenge?
Prez retreats on Army officer's challenge?

NOW things may be starting to heat up for the individual possibly usurping the Oval Office, what with the orders for an Army Reserver major to report to Afghanistan being revoked after he refuses the order, claiming Barack Obama aka Barry Soetoro is an illegitimate president. He was scheduled for a hearing Thursday on his request for a temporary restraining order on his deployment, but now he can rest easy: http://www.wnd.com/index.ph...

And finally the major media, namely Fox News and the Drudge Report, are taking notice, with Bret Baier and Sean Hannity reporting on this development.

And to quote the major:

"You know what. It would be so simple to solve. Just produce the long-form document, certificate of live birth."

Of course, the questions over BO aka BS may have nothing to do with the order being rescinded, but who knows? Stay tuned. Tick ... tock ... tick ... tock ...

WND's chief Joseph Farah chimes in again on this ongoing saga: http://www.wnd.com/index.ph...

If this keeps up, the "prez" is going to have some empathy for what a certain Alaskan woman went through.

Doc Blog 'N Roll, how about striking up another ditty? Something like this might be a good start:

Over hill, over dale
As we hit the dusty trail,
And those "Birthers" go rolling along.
In and out, hear them shout,
Counter march and right about,
And those "Birthers" go rolling along.

Refrain:
Then it's hi! hi! hee! ...

Face it PAX. It's hard to make people realize Obama has lied on all most every front, let alone push this "birther" issue. PAX I am right there with you on this issue. It's pretty obvious at this point that Obama is a fraud.  Obamatons don't care where their Messiah was born. It's not a big deal to them. Get a little more hardcore PAX

Watch The Obama Deception & read a few of Webster Tarpley's books.

WND is good for some info but they are still playing in the phony left-right paradigm. The best they got is Jerome Corsi.

I wish more troops would refuse orders.

I have to agree with WND on this one.

This is another small victory for the Republic. It shines more light on the fraudulent system. To bad folks like Hannity will make it a left-right issue & ruin the effect. (As they are paid to do)....no different than Keith Olberman.

and if this does prove out then charges should be filed against all those who took part in interferring with the truth..like the gov of hawaii ..the judges who revoked it etc..that should be considered TREASON for not investigating it further when it was first brought up

I would like to add one more caveat. This whole thing seems like a big distraction. It could be a psyop? It has all of the signs of one. It wouldn't be that hard to produce a fake document & and say HA HA I told you so!! It will neutralize another element of dissent. At least temporarily.I don't think most folks realize that the New World Order crowd has waged war on humanity & they control the sophisticated tools to keep everyone in Fear & ignorance. Maybe they will just keep this debate going, it serves a good purpose for them. Meanwhile the economy is being looted & destroyed.....just keep bickering & fighting amongst each other. No need to look up. More wars, evisceration of the Constitution, dollar devaluation, open borders and much more.

Beware PAX....don't fall in to the trap. Play chess, not checkers. The establishment is extremely crafty.

No folks....psyop is not some "conspiracy theory"....look it up. Don't think for one second the government won't run game on it's subjects.

This is from wiki:

Psychological Operations (PSYOP, PSYOPS) are techniques used by any set of groups to influence a target audience's value systems, belief systems, emotions, motives, reasoning, and behavior. PSYOPS are used to induce confessions or reinforce attitudes and behaviors favorable to the originator's objectives, and are sometimes combined with black operations or false flag tactics. Target audiences can be governments, organizations, groups, and individuals.

The phrase is commonly used by governments who do not wish to use the terms propaganda  or to refer to their own work because those terms have negative connotations. The use of such euphemisms for what is in effect  "mind control" is itself an example of psychological operations, i.e. using psychological techniques to persuade a large number of people to support something that they wouldn't normally support

info i dont see any reason for it to be a psyop..what would they gain by playing that game with a subject like this..why would thy keep the pot stirred just to mess with peoples minds over something so trivial if its not true..I dont see your logic..please explain

I edited my comment to hopefully help you see where I was going with the idea of a psyop.

INFO  example of psychological operations, i.e. using psychological techniques to persuade a large number of people to support something that they wouldn't normally support

WHY would we really want to support something like this if there wasnt concern to the validity of his position..and why would he want us too?? this isnt something we enjoy doing but if hes lying about his birth place we have every reason to suspect everything else he has said or done needs to be looked at closely..and no one in their right mind could argue that point..sure subjects to his unscrupulous past have been brought up but not in a court of law where he has to worry about the outcome.Im still not seeing the corilation

posted by Infowar on Jul 15, 2009 at 08:37 AM

I never said anyone was lying about his birth place. I think he was born in Kenya too. You just pointed out one example of a psyop. Psyop techniques can be utilized to yield a whole myriad of results.

The bottom line is, the birth certificate issue is a red herring.

I have to run off.

You guys have fun

hahah i wasnt accusing you of lying bud..im trying to say I just dont understand why he would allow this to run for so long if he had proof..to string people along on something so ignorant doesnt even make sense nor does the reasoning behind it ...if it is like you say being used as a psyop

To refer back to wiki and their reference to wako..now the use of psyop in this instance is understandable and has logic where the birth cert doesnt..they were trying to confuse and rattle the people into surrendering..if he thnks that him hiding his birth cert is gaining him any support psycologically it aint workin...infact its having a reverse effect..see what i mean it doesnt make sense to call it that..its just plain and simple a premeditated violation of our constitution

During the Waco Siege, the FBI and BATF conducted psychological operations on the men, women and children inside the Mount Carmel complex. This included using loudspeakers to play sounds of animals being slaughtered, drilling noises and clips from talk shows about how much their leader David Koresh was hated. In addition, very bright, flashing lights were used at night

Red Herring yes possibly but why..its a stupid dumb game if hes playing it..I dont think he would put that much time and money into a red herring of this type simply to hide his real agenda..I think theres more to it than that..just a gut feeling bro..

posted by ProgressivePete2 on Jul 15, 2009 at 09:34 AM

Keep in mind that you guys have not produced your birth certificates either. I've requested them numerous times. I'm pretty convinced at this point that you're from outer space. Until you prove me wrong, you are space aliens.

Oh, and I hope they throw that clown in the brig for refusing to show up for duty. That is very unbecoming of an officer.

Info, you have no idea what Psyops is or what they do (on the miltary side).  You live in a world of delusion and half-truths.

I wish more troops would refuse orders.

I disagree with the idea of the military openly disobeying orders but I wish there were less "yes" men leading up to the wars.  I had a Sgt Major that told me the army is like a tree full of monkeys.  The top monkeys (generals) look down and see a bunch of smiling monkeys while the ones at the bottom (Privates and Lieutenants) are getting crapped on by the monkeys above them.  If you're at the top, you see smiling "yes men" while those beneath you are stuck in the mess.

The Major is a distraction to his unit and I would not bring him on a deployment, either.  I would not want soldiers under him because his views might get in the way of the mission.  There were a lot of things that angered me under Bush (no armored vehicles, useless equipment) but I made it a point not to bitch or criticize the CinC in front of my soldiers.  We had a mission to do and I couldn't let politics get in the way protecting troops and accomplishing the task at hand.

There are military issues that will bother me about this CinC, too but this would not be the time for me to air that to my troops.  I would either address it in my chain of command or congressman.

Info, your delusion of Obama being born in Kenya is your own personal Psyop (more like psyche op).

Allright Pax....you got us. It is becoming obvious that Obama is not only an alien to the United States, he's an alien to planet earth. I could only manage to find a picture of his real father, who warped back in time to visit his mole son after the election.

Anybody ever notice the scars on top of Obama's ears...huhhhh?

Yeah, I tend to believe sites and postings that clearly state and link their sources over rumor sites like drudge and foxnews. I don't recall ever saying that huffingtonpost was unbiased. Maybe it's because they are biased. So what? We all are. Drudge is the political version of TMZ.

What exactly is wrong with snopes? Is it because you found out that liberals run it or something?

Sioux,

Her nomination as a vice presidential candidate belied the cynicism and bankrupt political values of the Republican party.  She clearly was not qualified for that job, very much less so for the job as president.

Too bad she couldn't see it as such and went for the gold anyway - why? Because she thought she could?  I mean, after all, a beauty queen and a fast rise in the  local Alaskan political scene ; and she can put on great pre-written and rehearsed snarky, cynically smug displays at political rallies.   I mean, shoot, she got a brand new house, why not the oval office, too!

She was insulting, among many other ( perhaps criminal ) things .  I bet someone inside the republican party asked her to go away.

PP heres a bit of news from just one article I found..on snopes..they arent any better than wiki when it comes down to it..

Snopes.com is a Scam

For the past few years www.snopes.com has positioned itself, or  others have  labeled it, as the 'tell all final word' on any comment, claim and email.   But for several years people tried to find out who exactly was behind  snopes.com.  Only recently  did Wikipedia get to the bottom of it - kinda  makes you wonder what they were hiding.  Well, finally we know. It  is run  by a husband and wife team - that's right, no big office of investigators  and researchers, no team of lawyers.  It's just a mom-and-pop  operation  that  began as a hobby.

David and Barbara Mikkelson in the San Fernando Valley of California started  the Website about 13 years ago - and they have no formal background  or  experience in investigative research.  After a few years it gained  popularity believing it to be unbiased and neutral, but over the  past couple  of years people started asking questions who was behind it and did  they have  a selfish motivation?  The reason for the questions - or skepticims  - is a  result of snopes.com claiming to have

the bottom line facts to  certain  questions or issue when in fact they have been proven wrong.  Also,  there  were criticisms the Mikkelsons were not  really investigating and getting to  the 'true' bottom of various issues.  I can personally vouch for  that  complaint.

A few months ago, when my State Farm agent Bud Gregg in Mandeville hoisted a  political sign referencing Barack Obama and made a big splash across  the  internet, 'supposedly' the Mikkelson's claim to have researched  this issue  before posting their findings on snopes.com.  In their statement  they  claimed the corporate office of State Farm pressured Gregg into  taking down  the sign, when in fact nothing of the sort 'ever' took place.

I personally contacted David Mikkelson (and he replied back to me) thinking  he would want to get to the bottom  of this and I gave him Bud Gregg's  contact  phone numbers - and Bud was going to give him phone numbers to the  big  exec's at State Farm in Illinois who would have been willing to  speak with  him about it.  He never called Bud.  In fact, I learned from  Bud Gregg no  one from snopes.com ever contacted anyone with State Farm.  Yet, snopes.com  issued a statement as the 'final factual word' on the issue as if  they did  all their homework and got to the bottom of things - not!

Then it has been learned the Mikkelson's are jewish - very  Democratic (party) and extremely liberal.  As we all now know from this presidential  election, liberals have a purpose agenda to discredit anything that  appears  to be conservative.  There has been much criticism lately over the  internet  with people pointing out the Mikkelson's liberalism revealing itself  in  their website findings.. Gee, what a shock?

So, I say this now to everyone who goes to www..snopes.com to get  what they  think to be the bottom line facts...'proceed with caution.'  Take what it  says at face value and nothing    more.  Use it only to lead you to  their  references where you can link to and read the sources for yourself.  Plus,  you can always google a subject and do the research yourself.  It  now seems  apparent that's all the Mikkelson's do. After all, I can personally  vouch  from my own experience for their 'not'

fully looking into things.

Sioux, I knew about Snopes.com being in the pockets of the liberals. It'll be interesting to see how they spin the latest developments in this case. I just posted an update on this to reflect the firing of the Army Reserve major: http://people.bakersfield.c...

If Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook wants to serve in Afghanistan and avoid the supposed illegal order. Why wouldn’t he just volunteer? Go without regard to an order from Obama?
The guy is a coward and publicity seeker. No different than any draftee that took refuge in Canada.
But now the right wing wackos put this bum up on a pedestal.

The right Wing has lost all sense of honor. They are bowing to the hatred that has been boiling up inside them.

The Army is not going to waste time in a civilian courtroom.  Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook
will see his day in court. But it will be a military court under military charges. His orders were lawful. He will pay the price. And I hope it is a dishonorable discharge.

Get this birther thing out of your heads. It is driving you to insanity. Just like it drove Maj. Stefan Frederick Cook to act so foolishly.

This argument has no legs. It is a dead issue.
Wake up and smell the coffee.
