Sounds fine.  A little skimpy on education but experience is sometimes more valuable than a college degree.

From what I know of Fran from growing up in Shafter is she appears to be a decent lady. I don't know why she would want to start rolling arounf in the mud now.

Boredom probably Witbee.

Although I don't know why since she lives in Shafter, gateway to the rose capital of America. ;)

Almost 40 years in the banking industry should give her an edge when it comes to the economic issues.

Wonder if any of her kids has thought about going into politics.

I know Fran and I can tell you she is of very strong character and beyond reproach.  I think she will be a better representative than her son, Dean (not that he is doing a bad job).  I am a Republican, but would definitely vote for her because she is the best person for the job.

That is high praise coming from an opposing party member.

You must be one of those real conservatives Driller, not the fake ones in office now. LOL

I also have known her for decades and witbee is right, she is a very fine lady and I also have much respect for Dean.  I really don't know where she stands on local issues but I she is honest and I feel her decisions would be based on what is right and wrong and not what is best for her career.
