No, don't think so. Unless he and Weir take each other on - may the worst man win! And then lose to Mayor Hall.

This is exactly why the rest of the world sees Bakersfield as a hick town.  The guy who walks into enemy territory, hits a gay rights supporter "in self defense", and sits back while others defend him against the "homosexual activist" with a criminal record and urge others to do more (see the recent letter to the editor) gets pushed as a possible mayoral candidate.  He's apparantly not only a great role model for the students (do as I say, not as I do...well, I guess that's how it works when you have money anyway), but now he's a great role model for our city???

Defending yourself is a great message for all of Bakersfield.

If a quote "bisexual" activist takes a swing at you, hit them back.  Mr. Metter supports self-defense in the KHSD.  If a student defends themself from an attacker, Mr. Mettler supports a student acting in defense.

Badewitz, the ectasy junkie, took a swing at Mr. Mettler, and Mr. Mettler knocked him silly.  Good for him.

Mettler for Senator.

Thus far, Harvey has not (1.) participated in public picketing (2.) has not hit anybody (3.) has not injected personal morals or religion in his campaign (4.) has not injected personal morals or religion in his duties as mayor.

Can his opponents say that? Unless they can, I'll be voting for Harvey as long as he wants the thankless job.

That would be a great job for Mr. Mettler.  :-)

Awww, I participated in the rally and am sorry to see the guy dressed up in the Halloween spirit as a Crusader at the right  cropped out too much. You can only see the cross-emblazoned helmet and part of the "shield" sign that read "Protect marriage & children ... Vote Yes on Prop. 8."

Anyway, why settle for less? Mettler for President!

Another Christian that only turns the other cheek when it works in his favor.  If someone is gay that is between them and God.  Not them and Ken.  I don't believe the Bible says that Ken will be the judge of us all.  God can handel that.  But as usual all these people that set an example of hate for their children use the Bible as thier defense.

Why don't you just leave people alone to live their lives.  If you need a cause look at all the hungry kids in this county.  Stand on street corners for them.
