Interesting, I guess. Not a whole lot that's especially revealing. I tend to forget such trivia. posted by

How interesting that he would think his worst habit is checking his BlackBerry, while he still smokes cigarettes. posted by

SHHHHH!!!!!!!!!! He said he quit! Are you implying he would be disingenuous about that? Actually, I couldn't care less that he smokes. It gives him a human quality along with stinky clothes and bad breath! posted by

motopoet, According to the posted article he didn't fulfill his promise to Michele by quiting. That broken promise won't mean much to the American people, especially when they finally realize he can't keep most of the promises he made. posted by

Does anybody in the great green country believe that any President can deliver on what is said during a campaign? I gave up waiting for my "chicken in a pot" right after high school government class. posted by

Yeah..Thats true proam..along with all the promises many of the people who voted for him thought he made but didn't. I think his constituents will be amazed at the speed at which he will be backpeddling for the next few years! posted by

No sage, I don't believe any of them and I never really have. The problem is that SO many people this time DID believe that Obama would make their lives better and easier. That isn't going to happen and every politically aware person in America knows it. It's sad that those who felt disinfranchised in the last two elections will now simply be disillusioned. posted by

sage, I think Palin was probably the closest we've come to even laying our eyes on a candidate with some integrity in a very long time. The media saw to it that she didn't get her foot in the door. Making promises is stupid all in itself, unless you are the one totally in control. Thank God, as of yet we don't have a Dictator! Motopoet, His supporters will find plenty of reasons not to hold him accountable for his shortcomings. #1 will be. It is Bush's fault! posted by

We have a three tier system of governance~ and we do ourselves a disservice when we allow ourselves to succumb to the sound bite. I do believe that for the good of the country some of what President elect Obama said will come to pass. Certainly I hope we can all agree the economy, jobs, green energy are all things that no American wants to see stagnate. I voted for him~ but that was my only option this time around. I've just been reading how the Obama team plans to use the Internet and the citizens already behind him to keep involved in government. I am betting those "disenfranchised" voters become not "disillusioned" but more aware politically involved citizens. For the countries sake.
