Wow! A call for transparency from Kevin McCarthy and the Republican Party? This after 8 years of all secrecy and no privacy from the Republican Party with Dick Cheney's energy taskforce that no one knows to this day who actually attended and crafted the document? This after Bush went and ordered the telecoms to provide eavesdropping on calls from private citizens without a court order. This from a Republican where the last President never met a spending bill he didn't like and right to the end had his Secretary of Treasury craft a bailout without strings for Wall Street and no look at the package for Main Street, who pays the bills. Kevin McCarthy needs a new career. Comedy, perhaps. posted by
