What font are you?
I stumbled upon this quiz just a few minutes ago while reading through my Twitter feed. I'm following PBS Engage, and they posted the link to this quiz called "What font are you?" http://www.pbs.org/independ... I am Helvetica. What are you? I'm kind of a boring person, so this font seems to fit me well, although I really don't use it. When you're finished with it you can click next to read the descriptions of everyone else's fonts and see what they're like. Take the quiz and enjoy. 27 comments from 18 users

Fun quiz, Robin! I'm a Helvetica, too, and I was just SURE I'd be something wild & crazy. I mean, my idea of the perfect date is a day spent at the shooting range. How is that Helvetica? Now I'm wishing I'd chosen as my perfect date mooning people out car windows and prank calling my friends, because that was a close second for me. I guess I really AM growing up. Sigh. posted by

Helvetica. But I've always thought of myself as more of a Cooper Black. And I'd like to write in my own answers too--I've only seen one movie on their list. Ah, well, at least it's sans-serif. I had my serifs knocked off years back. posted by

I am Edwardian Script. Romantic, flowery, fluttery, all that crap. If my husband sees this, he'll laugh his a** off. I need a do-over. posted by

Well, darn. That's disappointing. I went through all the results and there are plenty of fonts, but we all seem to be getting the Helvetica. That's strange. Helvetica is also the title of the Independent Lens film this quiz is about, too, I think. posted by

Well, I'm glad we're all turning out to be cool fonts, although I HAVE met a few Stencils around here before. Good times. posted by

AD ~ Can you pick up my dry cleaning? I may not make it out of the office and you being Courier and all... I re-took the test and went against my nature with all my answers, my font this time? Contrary. Ironic, no? posted by

I won't be taking anymore of these quiz's. My Dad-In-Law that knows volumes about computers, and worked in the field for years told me that there are people out there that make up these tests, and quiz's so as to put spy-ware into your computer. It is fun, but not worth that. posted by

I'm Impact, which isn't what I thought I would be, but there are those who would contend that I do make a bit of an impact in life :o) posted by

You guys crack me up. I'm glad you're having fun. Well, proam, I honestly wouldn't be surprised at all if your father-in-all were correct about the quizzes with spyware, but do you really think PBS would put spyware on a quiz? I mean, that surely wouldn't be a way to make the money they need to keep a nonprofit going -- that's for sure. posted by

Edwardian Script. Which is described: "A true romantic at heart, nothing gets your juices flowing more than the promise of flowery, fluttery love. Can you hear those violins playing? They're playing just for you." It was that question about sitting in the waiting room of the doctors office. Drop-dead handsome, Killer blue-eyed doctor. Nuff said, except that I admit I have lusted in my heart many times and remain pure as the driven snow in spite of all the romance in my head. My cross to bear. Taurus. I don't know what that means besides being *modestly* bull-headed [grin]. spamcode: HOP TB posted by

It says I'm Impact, but I don't believe it. Sure, I can read leet and yes, I have visited LOLcats websites.... but never have I used anything other than proper American English when writing online... except for an acronym or two, but none of those faddish ones! I resent the implication, hrmph. I'm much more curmudgeonly... where's the fixed type, "who needs a GUI when you could have a terminal" font for old Unix geeks? posted by
