If anyone feels like it...
I entered some photos in a Fair Climate Project photo contest. As I was saying before, if anyone feels like it, you can go check them out and vote for them on the Fair Climate Project Web site. Here are the links for each of the photos that I entered. First photo of a horned toad lizard Second photo of the horned toad lizard Field of strawberries and blossoms Strawberry blossoms and an ant A single strawberry plant before sunset -- my favorite. A busy little bee working its magic on a blossom I think you have to sign up before you can vote for them, so it may be asking too much of you. The sign-up process is simple, though. Still, I'm posting this just in case someone feels like voting for me. I chose to enter photos in the contest because I care about the environment and see the importance of getting things done now so that our future won't look quite so depressing. I have some more stuff written about each of the photos on Flickr, but I'm not going to post those here. Unlike many of the other people who entered this photo contest, I actually read the rules and regulations all the way through -- multiple times. There was a deadline on Sept. 15, and Sept. 30 is the deadline for public voting, so you have to vote today if you plan to actually do it. Well...thanks for reading my blog post, anyway. See y'all later. Robin P.S. How are you guys? I haven't been on the blogs for a long time, so I haven't talked to any of you for weeks. Oh, how I have missed chatting with my blogging friends from B.com! Stop by the comment box and say hello, OK? 3 comments from 3 users

Thank you, Sage! You are so sweet. I appreciate it. I miss seeing you on Facebook, but I understand about the spam and all that stuff. It makes sense. Your account is still there, isn't it? I need to tell you how to do something over there. I'll have to go leave a comment on your profile soon. Sigh. Guess no one else wanted to say hello to me, because I only have 34 page views, which means no one saw my post-script message. What a nice "welcome back!" feeling...ha ha ha. Audrey, thanks. I took the photo of myself a few months ago in my bedroom. I was bored and had my camera with me, so I thought I'd make some use of it. I noticed the natural light coming through my window that afternoon, so I sat down in my chair and started taking pictures of myself. I took a bunch that didn't come out very well, but I liked this one, so I decided to keep it and use it. It's actually not very easy to take a picture of myself. Perhaps that's just the issue with perfection, though.
