Elemental Disruption

"Most people go through life dreading they'll have a traumatic experience. Freaks were born with their trauma. They've already passed their test in life. They're aristocrats." Diane Arbus

My life seems to operate sideways~ backwards almost~ and I have come to see thats right for me. A rain of snakes, disruption that cause's growth ,the world split in two.Everyone has there own path, mine has been one of thought, mostly of things folks today seem to disregard. Truth, personal integrity,politeness,...not all eschew these things. For me its been the easiest way to be~ any other way leads me to more trouble..and a sense of humor, above all about myself. Laughter keeps a person sane, and I enjoy seeing the coyote in myself~ the eternal trickster

sagefever - > Deep Thoughts~whats in ,on my mind and whats out there. -> Kevin M. King ( Daniel Shepard) 2003-2009
Kevin M. King ( Daniel Shepard) 2003-2009

I never saw your sweet face,or even held your small hand in mine. I never passed you on the street or saw you playing in a park. I never saw the wonder in your eyes or the smile that graced your lips. I never held you to say it would be okay~ and I am sorry no one else did.

Today we bury a small member of our community who I hope has a huge impact.

No more violence towards children.

If you see something,if you "feel" something is not right~ report it.

May you rest in peace Kevin.

Thanks for the great prose, and the profound sentiment!

I would say thanks~ but today I was just the vesel for what the "spirit" poured out of me, what needed to be said.

Poor sweet little boy. Wish I could have taken him in.

Ghost, there are a lot of children in need out there.  This poor baby was one of many.  It's not too late to help them.

Just keeping your eyes and ears open will help out~ as will anything one can do.

(ghost)~ I know exactly how you feel.

We would love to adopt or be foster parents, but we both have to work, and I don't want kids raised by daycare. Kids in foster care already have enough to deal with, and I believe they need a parent at home. We have considered adopting when my oldest boy moves out, so we have room.

Kevin's passing has really affected my family. As I mentioned before, he and my son played together at school and his foster brother was in the same class as my boy, Jack. SInce his passing and his brotherss abrupt withdrawl from school, my son has taken to crying when his mom drops him off at school. He's getting better, just a few tears now, but he never did that before. We still pray for his family each night.

I thought about you and your family yesterday. The children are young,so understanding this must be very hard for them. But I know you and your wife will find a way.

I am holding the family in my thoughts and now I'll add your little boy.

Can't quite express my feelings on this subject, but I'm grateful to you, Sage, for expressing yours so beautifully.  All I can say is that I'm so very, very sorry about the loss of this sweet little boy.

I just had to acknowledge this child's passing.
