Workout machine without weights?
Two local brothers have created an exercise machine they claim can give you a full-body workout without the use of weights, instead using your own body as resistance.  What do you think?  Have you ever heard of an exercise machine without weights?  If you don't believe them, check out a video of the machine.  Would you consider using one of the machines to tone up and lose weight?

By the picture, it looks like the machines are for geriatics.  For them, the idea sounds great.   Ederly with bone loss, and muscle loss, shouldn't be messing with weights which could hurt them.

As far as the gym you show in the video....I checked it out a few years ago, and the guy was a [edit.] when trying to sell me a membership.  He was very condescending and I joined a different gym and payed more, just so I wouldn't have to deal with that idiot.

This is for OLD PEOPLE. Look who is promoting it!!!!!!

What they don't tell you is that they charge to put it together in your home or office.

This is an OVERPRICED gimmick IMHO.

this isnt really going to help a person put muscle on, but may provide some minor strength training.

Woof woof, I'm with you, [edit.].  He is a washed up body builder and the gym is rotton and a health hazard.  Not to mention the crime that happens around the parking lot.  You would have to be physically fit just to get in there with your life!  I looked at this machine and just could not figure out how it tones you exactly.  While I like the family who invented it, I won't be buying one.

Is'nt that the way cats, (panthers) develop thier muscles? Resistance training is the best way to get in shape without hurting yourself,

This is for OLD people???  WOW..that's sort of narrow minded folks.  And just what constitutes "OLD" to you guys?  Are you saying that because it's being marketed by two senior citizens that it's limited?  Check out the quote below from the newspaper article.

"The Lopeteguys said they hope it can help the obesity problem in America, especially among children. To that end they have started marketing it to schools — they say Wasco High has agreed to purchase 30 of the machines for its revamped weight room."

Hehehe...better tell the high school that only "Seniors" should use it...no Freshman, Sophmores or Juniors please.
