Where would you like to fly from Bakersfield?
ExpressJet Airlines announced earlier this week it will serve 24 midsize U.S. cities, including Bakersfield. ExpressJet will fly two nonstop flights a day to and from San Diego starting on May 14. Meadows Field currently offers service to Los Angeles, Phoenix, Houston, San Francisco, Salt Lake City and Las Vegas. Some locals have expressed an interest in adding service to Sacramento.
Where would you like to be able to fly from Bakersfield?
Also, check out a previous blog on ExpressJet adding service to Bakersfield.

We checked into the Bako to San Diego run. That is somewhere I go frequently. The prices will be decent if you book ahead. I look forard to giving them some of my flight business because I hate the trip to LA by vehicle, just to get on a plane for half an hour.

LMAO Robb :)

when did they bring back bako to vegas flights?  when i lived in las vegas i flew home and i had to fly into LAX then bako, and when i left i had to fly from here to san fran....  it cost like 300 bucks and 6 hours....  i don't fly much but i am glad they are bringing in flights to places people often travel to from here.

No Cassie, there were direct flights, they were just in the middle of the night. Vegas flights at practical times would bee good.

hmmmmmmmmmm.....let me think, nowhere.  I'd rather fly out of LAX, burbank, long beach, San Francisco, etc.

Austin, TX and more flights to Vegas as well (not just at 9pm).  By the way, when are we ever going to get Southwest here to town? Our airport will always be "less-than" until we get a decent commuter carrier like Southwest or JetBlue.  Just my 2 cents.
