Massive oil profits for BP and Shell

Just when you were going to get really mad about spending $50 to fill up your ride, oil giants BP and Shell announce their first-quarter profits.

The combined profits equal $17 billion.

These two companies are the largest oil producers in Europe, where drivers pay far more than Americans for a gallon (liter) of gas.

Needless to say, the punters are not happy.

Read the story here.

Fine by me also, like I said before I save money here by using my BP UK card( exchange rate/no fees) and sorry but Shell sucks, but  they have more locations and better facilities in the Baltic region and that`s a plus for me, Stick with Statoil in the lower European region and of course BP in the UK., And yes ,you do pay far more there but get much better mileage and the public transportation is superior and very efficient,

Isn't a liter closer to a quart?

etbartley:

Check you stockholders report and note the salary of the CEO.  How many millions can one guy be worth?  And yeah, why can't the price of the stock be equal to a barrel of crude?

You won't believe the spam code:  O I Rob
