Whoda known??
Well I was surprised today, a friend told me about a great cook-out that takes place on the second Wed. of ea. Month... Real Great Burgers with Ortega chili, and the works,, and potato salad and some real good beans plus a drink! all for $4!! Beat that, I don't think so.. put on by the Shriner's and for a great cause besides... till about 2pm I think... NOTE! I checked on the hours, and it is from 11am till 1PM two hours only, although they taka a while to get all cleaned up, so you could probably still get a burger a bit after 1... It is at Noble Park..just a block North of Bell Terrace on So. P, East side of the road turn into the parking lot and enjoy the shade and great food... I will be back!! 4 comments from 4 users

Bless the Shriner's~ they helped out my son,they even bent the rules a bit to see him. I will definitely give this a try! Thanks Ted.

2nd Wed. of each month, huh? Well, I will surely take them up on a $4 burger! The Shriner's are the BEST....they took care of my daughter (financially) many years ago when she had her operation for scoliosis. It was very expensive and they covered the whole sha-bang! Dancinlin you are right about the Shriners, they are a SUPER bunch... Plus the burgers are sooooooooooo good, I had to have two of everything..hehe after I ate the first, it was to good not to have another.. WELL worth the money! I just hope they do not have to raise their prices like everybody else is doing... Looks or sounds like you like to dance,,hehe Me too...Every Monday eve. at Trout's, and the potluck dinner is usually great also...
