Why are so many women going to prison? What happens daily once inside? Let's talk about this as I'm curious to know what you all think as there are many factors that play a role. Check out "Cops" on TV. You'll see plenty of women 'dirtballs" appearing nightly. My guess as to why so many women are to prison would be because there are more women. The rising population tide lifts all boats.

Women are no longer ladies. With the feminist movement, women felt that not only should they have the same employment opportunities and pay as men, (as they should) but that they should also be promiscuous, foul-mouthed, tough, and coarse. From there, it's only a hop, skip, and a jump to the commission of crimes that heretofore were the territory of men.

Oh, but pamg, some still are Ladies. All you have to do is ask them to a RAIDERS game, and you'll find out who's a woman and who's a lady. As I've said many times, a Raider game is no place for a lady.

OK..three guesses as to who used to be housed at the Tehachapi Prison location...before the earthquake in 1952. (edited) By the way Robb..I liked your comment about the population.
