In memory of Teri Lynn Kozy, 1/24/1958-9/14/2007

In memory of Teri Lynn Kozy,

When I first began to blog on TBC. I was unable to register with a GKOZY user name for some reason. I instead took the name TKOZY. It wasn't the only thing Teri and I laughed about. It wasn't the only thing Teri and I argued about. It is only one of a million memories that I will continue to have of her life, with me and our children.

Teri made certain to tell our children they would never be alone. That GOD was always on their shoulder, always watching over them.

GOD was on Teri's shoulder. Watching over her, our children and all the rest of us. Teri is in a better place, with GOD today.

For those of you who are wondering. In situations such as mine. Time is never a friend. You either do not have enough of it. Or it seems as if it has stopped. In those times in which it seems I am helpless and unable to sleep or continue. This blog has always been a place to go. A place to pause and think.

I had mixed feelings about continuing on with the TKOZY user name. More than once after reading a blog. Teri would get angry and ask me to change my user name. But she continued to read them just the same.

It may sound silly or meaningless to many people. But while alone, I struggle with many thoughts.

Just as Teri would have expected of me. I am slowly taking care of the things in life that must go on.

It's not the first step I have taken since Teri's death. It's not the biggest step I have taken since her death.

But one of the decisions I had made was to explain the user name TKOZY.

It was a part of our life.

It is a process I had to go through.

Now that has been done.

I have also decided to continue to use the user name TKOZY, in a silent tribute to Teri.

I will be busy for some time. I will continue to post when I feel I need the release. . But may not have the time or spirit to reply for some time.

Teri Kozy died 14 Sept. 2007. Read TBC obit notices on 19 Sept 2007.

PEACE

Tk...I'm so sorry for the loss of this very important person in your life.  May God ease your, and you childrens  burden.

After my Mother passed away my Dad handed me his Bible and had me read this passage.

"Come to me all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest.

Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart and ye shall find rest unto your souls.

For my yoke is easy and my burden light."

KJV Matt 11:28-30

I know this place you are in ,my friend, better than most here. You do what you need to do for yourself and your family. You do not need to explain yourself or your actions to anyone: Take care of you!  Please reach out to others when you can. People are mostly helpful, and those that are not,can be ignored. Death scares most people, they say and do silly things. Take care.

Isaiah 57

 1 The righteous perish,
       and no one ponders it in his heart;
       devout men are taken away,
       and no one understands
that the righteous are taken away
       to be spared from evil.

 2 Those who walk uprightly
       enter into peace;
they find rest as they lie in death.

Unfortunately the obits we see on the online BC don't list all.  Check your physical paper.

Tkozy

There is no preparing for a loved one's death.  I hope you can take comfort from the knowledge that she's released from the pain and worry that life brings to the ill.

You have my deepest sympathies.

Are obit notices only available in the paper?  I looked at the 19th and 20th...I couldn't find it.   Why doesn't the Californian make those available on the web?

It's under the funeral section. Say your apologies now to Gary Kozy for doubting our fellow blogger.

Bravo! I kept thinking I should tell P. to go back and read what I wrote after both of my boys died. Clarity is not ones long suit at that time...you lose your mind literally.

I already did apologize.  Profusely.  You want my firstborn while we're at it?

I'm very, very sorry that Teri has died.

Relax~  I did not see the apology. Some of your posts, on the other blog may have struck some as a bit strident. Peace to all.
