Freakin' hilarious !!!

posted by tkozy on Sep 13, 2008 at 08:50 PM

I noticed this at the first introduction. I have no idea why it hasn't received more coverage.

It would be hilarious. If it wasn't real.

Even O'Really's movement expert said it was disturbing to see him fiddling with his ring. She said it was a bad habit of his..

posted by getalife on Sep 13, 2008 at 11:26 PM

Wow I never knew you were an expert on human behavior, because if was Obama it would be called being nervous.

Get,

I'll re-post for your clarification..

Even O'Really's movement expert said it was disturbing to see him fiddling with his ring. She said it was a bad habit of his..

TK says:

So you see. I wasn't claiming any expertise in this matter.

I have an emerald ring on my left hand.  Out of habit, I continually turn it on my finger.  I guess that has some deep seated meaning although I can't imagine what.

We just went through a big brouhaha on the blog over the smut tossed around and nothing that had anything to do with the election.

It would show a lot of maturity and a lot less schoolboy twitters if you "boys" kept your mind out of the gutter..

How do you know he wasn't looking at her speech? He may have been interested in what she was going to say?? Why does it always  HAVE TO BE SEXUAL? At least he didn't purger himself and say " I did not have sexual relations with that women" when he knew that DNA (and a blue dress containing it)  could prove him wrong.

Nancy,

O'really's movement expert would like to talk to you.  :>)

GET,

Is Bill running for Pres. again.  :>)

No THANK GOD, but why is it alright to assume that McCain is doing as you say??? You Democrats don't think that it is ok for me to think that Barock Hussian Obama Is a Muslim.

Back in my pool league days I found a small nick where my hand held my pool cue.  As I lined up for a shot I would twirl the cue until I found that nick.  I still believe it was a tactic to calm me, to feel something familiar that meant something to me.  You might ask O'Reilly's people watcher about that.

And you might wonder if there might be more than one meaning to McCains unconscious gesture.

posted by tkozy on Sep 14, 2008 at 12:06 AM

Get,

I am not asking you to believe what I say. I said what I believe that I saw in a video, that I posted for you to watch and choose what you wish to believe.

posted by getalife on Sep 14, 2008 at 12:11 AM

And THAT IS WHAT I"M TELLING  YOU!!! I don't think that it is what he was doing.

to McCain's unconscious gesture.

Do you think it was the Ambien?

Nancy says,

I would twirl the cue until I found that nick

TK says.

It is not just one action. It's the combination of actions that must be observed.

Now if you were twirling your cue stick and starring down the Blondie flirting with your date.

Forget O'Really.

That might make the 11 o'clock news..  :>)

Get,

Fine..

It just looks like he's reading a pick-up line stapled to her hindquarters. Maybe it's just me. It will be interesting to hear from other viewers.

posted by NancyII on Sep 14, 2008 at 12:23 AM

Your comment makes no sense and since you insist on keeping the conversation in the realm of the locker room...I are outta here.  Carry on McDuff.

posted by tkozy on Sep 14, 2008 at 12:31 AM

Hindquarter in the locker room? That's why we have been having difficulty in reaching a middle ground.

All this time I was referring to the hindquarter in the Butcher shop. :>)

Man !!!  I feel that life is way too short to be sooo serious about such matters. I mean it is a very funny vid... that's all ... whew, I think we all need to lighten up a bit.... It's just a funny video someone made... just take it at face value... enjoy things once and a while... stop trying to make something out of nothing !!!

posted by tkozy on Sep 14, 2008 at 06:48 AM

Gsis,

The words were added to the original video.

Parts of the Palin introduction to the world as the new VP were cut and only McCain looking at the hindquarters were posted.

But nothing was done to alter McCain's Actions.

What's left is the parts of the induction relevant to the question at hand.

You look. You decide.

posted by gsisola on Sep 14, 2008 at 08:24 AM

I just took it for what it is.... funny !!!  I really don't care if he is looking at her speech.... or checking out her butt... makes no difference to me.... I just thought it was funny.... I really don't understand why you are all making a big deal of it.

posted by tkozy on Sep 14, 2008 at 08:38 AM

gsis,

Nothing wrong with that. I thought it was funny also.

I could have found and posted the original. But this one is too cute so I posted it.

But ask your self. With out McCain's obvious actions. Is there humor in the voice over? No, cause it wouldn't make any sense.

If any, not nearly of the magnitude of the total effect.

What makes it funny is that here is a man old enough to be my father. ( and I am 57 until November), Doing what a kid would do at a high school rally.

If I didn't know better it could be a high school rally. And the principle checking out the home economics teacher's,  Leg of Lamb.  :>)

Good point Acta.  How silly of me.  :-)

Another comment of the video, which I didn't watch by the way.  Depth perception on those stages is difficult.  I noticed when the whole family of both parties were on stage I thought they were standing side by side and when Palin started to the side of the stage I realized they weren't really standing that close after all.

I remember waaaaay back in the 70's Wards catalog came out with a picture of a guy in briefs that made it look like you could see the outline of his "package."  The high school kids went nuts (no pun intended) trying to get a look at that catalog.  It made quite a sensation and Wards tried damage control saying it was a shadow, or trick of the camera.

Hmmm..wonder what it was about this blog that reminded me of that dust up............

Nancy/ACTA,

You keep disregarding my comment that even though I became aware of McCain's actions as I watched live TV from the RNC.

I first saw it reported on the Fox network, Bill O'rally Show.

By the way. O'rally didn't say McCain could be checking out her speech. He said McCain could be looking at her feet.

I wonder if that comment is a revelation of a Bill O'Rally fetish..  :>)

What man wouldn't look........a gay one !

The wedding ring thing is another non-issue.  Many people have one or more peculiar fidgety habits.

This election is turning into a joke on the collective American IQ.  NOBODY is talking about the issues.

Not even to criticise the clothing?

How 'bout a straight man with standards?

Pawn,

And it has become the Chicken before the egg? Who started it.

I am willing to discuss facts. Let's set some rules.

A military hero does not always make  a great President. Grant terrible, Eisenhower mediocre. But he at least did improve  America by building the Socialist Co-operative  freeway system.

If you were the 2nd wife of a philandering maverick. Wouldn't you watch this video and thank GOD you have a prenuptial?

A military hero does not always make  a great President.

Especially a phony one.

Fundie-girl is a beauty contestant. Her anatomy is supposed to get attention and get looked at. Maybe she should have worn a Moslem costume to avoid provoking sexist gestures and comments. But if she did that, she wouldn't be a bright shiney object.

Now she did parade her knocked up teen across the stage. I wonder how many viewers weren't looking for a baby bump?

usually I'll withhold comment on something like this, but it was funny...one of the funniest things i've seen in a long time.

You don't have to be  a philanderer to be attracted, to enjoy the sight of things...You think, however, McCain would be conscious of being watched...

...while he watched...and watched.  Where's Joe Lieberman, when you need him..?

By the way: You check out the Saturday Night Live skit of Hillary and fundie-girl making a joint appearance? The close resemblance to reality kind of took the humor out of it.

While Palin's butt might be appealing to a younger man, McCain's  thoughts were most likely focused whimsically on the faded libidinous urges of his lusty past.

A man McCain's age knows that with all the Cialis in the world he couldn't cut the proverbial mustard even if Palin really wanted some flacid old geezer wearing diapers who couldn't remember her name afterward.

Besides, there's big, virulent Todd.

And a foursome going on between the four of them is probably out of the question, unless Cindy was really hot for Toddy and pushed the deal.

McCain could maybe watch the threesome, though, and fantasize about his young stud days.

I dunno, maybe he could borrow one of Cindy's or Sarah's strap-ons....

TK, it's hard to envy a guy who's standing behind Sarah with a shriveled scrotum, looking at her butt and sadly thinking, "Back in the day..." instead of "Hey, hey, I'm ready to play."

Or, then again, it might be a blessing for a man to finally be freed from enslaving penility. (yeah, I made it up)
