Bush stumps for GOP in Georgia, find lots of empty seats
PERRY, Ga. (AP) -- President Bush on Tuesday spent a second day in a row campaigning in rural Georgia, targeting a shrinking slice of America where Republicans think he still can help their election cause.
Bush is spending the final days of the midterm campaign in small town venues, where White House officials hope he can inspire people to vote GOP next Tuesday. He didn't fill the arena at the Georgia National Fairgrounds -- plenty of seats were empty in the back along with nearly half of the vast floor space. But those who came out for the Halloween night rally were enthusiastic, applauding his call for tax cuts and against gay marriage. 3 comments from 3 users

To be fair, it wasn't Bush's fault the seats were empty. Nobody gets into one of his political sideshows without being specifically cleared by the Politboro, and they just couldn't find enough of the 33 percent faithful in time. posted by

Do Right Wing Evangelicals have to repent to a Priest.. Or can they just hide in a paper bag mask on election day.. And stay in the closet. Cept the ones like Evangelical Foley. They are outed now. That is. They will be outed once the are released from rehab.. GRIN
