We're taking a Survey.......Oh sorry, we've filled our quota......

I just received a random phone call from some Survey out of Washington DC. It was on the subject of Health Care. By phone number was randomly chosen. The guy's first question was "In what year were you born?" When I told him, he said "Oh, I'm sorry but we've already filled our quota for your age group.............

Go Figure............

Gotta love random surveys since they have no clue who they're calling.  It's so personal doncha know?  :-)

That's how you stack the statistics to look the way that you want them. I'm in a very big age category group in this Nation.

Tony..that's exactly why I don't trust statistics, surveys, and polls.  Figures can be skewed too easily.

A smart young man once told me "Figures lie and liars figure."

Stats can be made to show almost anything, a person needs to look at the stats and what it actually covers and how it was gathered and how the questions were asked.

Isn't this good news?  At least they didn't know your age, shoe size, bank account numbers etc. *BEFORE* callling...

SF...AND, who is wanting the information.  Who's behind the survey?

Nancy totally agree. We used to get calls for surveys from very very conservative groups like Focusn on the Family, they really tried to steer our answer to fit what they wanted for the out come.

Most people believe the polls on website reflect what real stats but, dont understand it is only based on the people who actually have took time to answer the questions and who only visited the website.
