        <title>Getting a human on the phone - Beyond The Bag - BeyondTheBag&apos;s Blog - Bakersfield.com</title>
        <link>http://people.bakersfield.com/home/Blog/BeyondTheBag/17845</link>
<description>One of my great frustrations with online sites, particularly those offering e-commerce, is the difficulty in finding phone numbers for customer service where you can reach a live human.&amp;nbsp; (Disclaimer:&amp;nbsp; bakersfield.com needs to improve in this area too; it&#039;s on my to-do list).

But thanks to a story on Slate.com that documents one person&#039;s quest to reach a human at iTunes, I found a link to Get Human 500. This is a listing of phone numbers for a variety of companies that allegedly will put you in contact with a human. Scroll down the list and you&#039;ll find lots of listings for stores and online businesses.

You might want to bookmark this site for future use.
