Subject: Dog Mauling

LAKE ISABELLA, CA &amp;ndash; Tuesday, March 18th at 10:37 A.M., a call was received by the Kern County Fire Department for an elderly female who had been attacked by a dog in the 5100 block of Caliente Bodfish Rd. Kern County Firefighters responded to the incident in quick fashion.

Upon arrival, crews found and elderly female who had been mauled by one or more dogs. The injuries were sustained by the patient while trying to separate the dogs from fighting. The patient was flown to the nearest medical facility due to the severity of the injuries to her left arm and left leg.
