Stupid People? Yes or No!

I know someone that has a full size rottweiler that they keep in their backyard. This backyard is next to the garage, its more like an extra yard that they don't use and not connected to the house. This rottweiler is always kept in the backyard and there is no shade except for a small doghouse that was put out there when he was a small puppy. This doghouse is too small for him now and I feel that they do not care.

They also have a pitbull which stays in their backyard that is connected to the house. You always see them out front playing with the pitbull but never the rottweiler. The rottweiler is not mean, we always go over and pet him so that he gets some attention. His owners are never out there and I am worried that this summer they may not care that he is out there.

The rottweiler is very very friendly doesn't growl or bark except he barks when he is lonely. I keep asking my mom if we can take him. My parents have had rotties and they love them.

The dog is about six months old and he is huge. What to do? Should we offer to take the dog? Should we steal him? Should we keep giving him attention so that he won't hate people?
