Penis - It's What's for Dinner in Bejing - WOOF! I'm Sniffing out Oddities! - woofwoof's Blog - Bakersfield.com

I can't imagine anyone, even Homer Simpson, saying, "Mmmmmm, Yak's Knob is sooo tasty!". But, apparently, penis and other genitalia are all that's on the menu in a Chinese restaurant in Beijing.
You can have your penis roasted, steamed or boiled. There's water buffalo member, or deer penis, dog penis (“The only one with a bone in it”, and served with a glaze cherry placed pointlessly on the tip). Or maybe you'd like some goat or bull penis.
This is a restaurant that caters mostly to male Communist party members. They seem to be the only ones that can afford such a "delicacy".
Here's the full story at TimesOnline. Enjoy!

Since I am Basque, I must confess I have eaten and have witnessed the cooking of many strange foods. LOL. I have been at Christmas dinner with Rocky Mountaint Oysters on table right in front of me. Also have been around head cheese and did try a little. My grandfather used to make sausage right in his own kitchen. One more popular sausage he made was blood sausage -- I did try this one too. Actually this was very good with lots of garlic and spice. I did not really care for the head cheese too much.

I have never tried rocky Mt. Oysters -- rather revolting in my opinion. I have eaten pickled tongue, which I do like. Also because of hunting going on in family, I have eaten venison, quail, pheasant (birds). Also have tried fried rabbit and squirrel. Rabbit tasted just like chicken. Guess that is why I am more adventurous when it comes to trying lots of different kinds of food. I mean what is normal when you are from a Basque family??? LOL.
