I've loved this place for years. Good chow, great service and good prices. Can't wait to go back.

I couldn't wait to let people know that this place is a little treasure, yet I would like to keep it to myself (but that wouldn't do the owner justice now, would it?!) My wonderful friend and I get together just about every week for breakfast and came here expecting only to have a good conversation over a good cup of coffee. Boy, were we pleasantly surprised! We each ordered off the specialty insert in the menu and were taken aback when we tasted our food. It was absolutely the best breakfast we had had anywhere in the last several years we have been getting together. Her Mediterranean-style omelet was superb and my Shitake mushroom omelet was equally delicious. Both of us thought we would love to come back with our families in the evening to have another choice for dinner, only to have our bubble burst when we were told that the cafe closes after lunch. Well, we just decided we would have to venture back the next week, which leads us to today! My friend satisfied a strange desire for asparagus in trying the cafe's omelet featured in the insert at this visit and I opted for the seafood omelet with shrimp sauce. I was a little worried though as my husband has always said that you should only have seafood near the sea so that it would be the freshest catch of the day. Well, today this catch was so perfectly rich and smooth that I was overly willing to not interrupt my friend(for once) as she shared of her recent Eye Expedition in Mexico, just so that I could just keep putting one bite after the other into my mouth. I swear that if I wasn't out in public, I would have licked the plate clean! You really must try the cafe for breakfast soon...just don't tell anyone else about it!!

I've eaten at this place a countless number of times, and I've never once had bad service or a bad meal. The prices are reasonable, the food is fantastic, the menu is extensive, and they have crushed ice!!! I highly recommend this place without reservation. There's a reason why you have to wait so long to get in on the weekends.
