This is paradise for local beaders and knitters! The Bead & Yarn Studio just moved to a new location on District across from the Dreyers plant allowing them plenty of space to welcome in local crafters and display all of their wonderful materials.

From the outside, it doesn't look like much, but once you enter, you will discover a crafting oasis.  It's an inviting space filled with lots of vibrant color, yet open and spacious feeling. It is divided between beading with its own work area and reading room and yarn with its own hub. It was great to see ladies sitting around their work tables working on their projects there just for fun together.

The selection and organization of their beads is great. They offer everything from the high end to the budget and plenty in between. Their prices are very reasonable, making you want to buy more than you actually need.

The staff is also very friendly and helpful. They will even teach you beading or knitting for free! I know I am going to get them to teach me how to knit.
